✍️ Ahead of the #WPLAuction today, here's a look at the role of women's T20 leagues in Indian cricket, with fascinating inputs from coach Arjun Dev and former player Ananya Upendran. 🗣️ When I asked Ananya – a scout for DC - how her travel looked like in 2026, this is what she said: Mumbai -> Kolkata -> Mumbai -> Nagpur -> Indore -> Chennai -> Bangalore -> Delhi -> Chandigarh -> Vijayawada. 🗣️ As for Arjun, who has been a prominent coach in the women's game for a long time now, the freedom and flair that these T20 leagues bring in stand out compared to the often regimented nature of domestic cricket. He thinks it is essential for India to improve in T20s. Enjoyed speaking to both. Do read, share if you like etc. vinayakkm.substack.com/p/fre…
