Ahead of Finland’s general election, the Left Alliance has called for a plan to protect jobs and the environment from rising AI use. Rather than take tech firms’ promises at face value, governments need to regulate a sector that is running out of control. jacobin.com/2026/11/finland-…

We’re told there’s no choice except brutal cuts to health, education, and other government spending. This is a powerful narrative, but a false one. redflag.org.au/article/debt-…

In 2008, Barack Obama won a landslide victory and enormous mandate, only to quickly squander it. Today the Democratic establishment is far more delegitimized, and the Left is far stronger. History doesn’t have to repeat itself. jacobin.com/2026/11/midterms…

Democratic socialism has gone from the political margins to winning elections across the country. But to translate its electoral breakthroughs into a durable working-class movement, DSA will need to organize beyond the ballot box: jacobin.com/2026/11/dsa-elec…

Put people before profit: vote socialist. We'll stand up to the major parties and the big corporate interests they serve, push back against the racism of One Nation, and fight to ensure everyone, no matter their circumstances, has what they need to live a dignified life.

Zohran Mamdani on Abdul El-Sayed: “I think he’s doing a very good job in the way that he’s navigating this race. A race of that magnitude is difficult enough as it is. To have to contend with blatantly racist attacks on a regular basis and the silence of so many around him in the face of that, that is immensely difficult. When we are speaking about millions of dollars being spent trafficking in that racism, it becomes incredibly difficult to both respond to it and continue to move forward and it’s a challenge I think he’s rising to admirably”
