$CHZ: One advantage that Socios Equity Tokens have over sports stocks is accessibility. For example, Borussia Dortmund is publicly trading here in Germany, and can also be accessed in other countries in the EU and in the US.
However, buying it from Asia, Africa or Latin America is much more difficult, even though at least 25% of BVB's global fanbase is from these regions. Same applies to stocks outside of the EU that are difficult to access for me. Owning shares of Galatasaray or Bali United for example is not easily possible for EU residents.
A new asset class is coming to global sports.
