George “Ice Man” Gervin got his buckets in COUNTLESS different ways: Left hand hook, right hand hook, high finger role, 3 pointer, midrange, in traffic over 3 defenders. Work of art [3/6/82]
50pts 21/31 8/8ft 5ast 8reb 🔥
Kids still living in their mom’s basement on this app will watch this tape and call this generation “plumbers”
You guys clearly can’t see the game at a higher level. George is one of the most skilled scorers ever. Just because he doesn’t travel or carry (since rules didn’t allow it back then) doesn’t mean he wouldn’t cook today.
Respect the past legends, don’t be a fool ✌🏻

“If you’re going and playing to exhaustion, every time you’re out there, it just gives you a chance.” - TJ McConnell
Playing hard is a skill.
It’s controllable.
It’s a choice.
Do you play to exhaustion?

BEING COACHED HARD
The meaning of being coached hard is about being pushed beyond your comfort zone by a coach who holds you to a high standard—not to tear you down, but to build you up.
It means:
Being corrected constantly, even when you're already good—because "good" isn’t good enough.
Being held accountable for every mistake, bad habit, or lazy moment—because details matter.
Being challenged mentally and emotionally, not just physically—because greatness takes toughness.
Hearing uncomfortable truths—because growth comes from honesty, not praise.
Being coached with intensity and your coach believes in your potential more than you might believe in yourself.
When you're coached hard, it's not personal—it’s purposeful. It’s a sign your coach sees something special in you and refuses to let you settle.
