🚨 @Keir_Starmer, we have an urgent agenda item for your discussion with President Trump tomorrow: stop ethnic cleansing in #Sudan.
1 million people in Sudan’s largest camp for displaced persons, mostly women & children, are starving. And many more could die unless YOU do something about it. #Darfur
Thank you @mfl_sbs for looking so well after the boys and giving them this amazing French Chateau experience! My son loved it! 🙌

I have been presenting sport on the BBC for almost 3 decades and am immeasurably proud to work with the best and fairest broadcaster in the world. I cannot wait to get back in the MOTD chair on Saturday. 2/4

After a surreal few days, I’m delighted that we have navigated a way through this. I want to thank you all for the incredible support, particularly my colleagues at BBC Sport, for the remarkable show of solidarity. Football is a team game but their backing was overwhelming. 1/4

A final thought: however difficult the last few days have been, it simply doesn’t compare to having to flee your home from persecution or war to seek refuge in a land far away. It’s heartwarming to have seen the empathy towards their plight from so many of you. 3/4

As a BBC freelancer I couldn’t agree with @GaryLineker more.
He’s a freelance sports presenter, not a news or current affairs journalist and given that he’s opened his home to refugees he knows more about their plight than most.
Bravo Gary 🙌🏼

I have never known such love and support in my life than I’m getting this morning (England World Cup goals aside, possibly). I want to thank each and every one of you. It means a lot. I’ll continue to try and speak up for those poor souls that have no voice. Cheers all. 👊🏻

If the BBC discipline @GaryLineker, the game is up. Those who want to cancel him are the hypocrites. My column is here inews.co.uk/opinion/ive-know…

That hospitals, schools and public services have been cut to the bone by thirteen years of grossly incompetent government, and our economy is flatlining because we've stopped trading with our nearest trading partners, isn't the fault of people hoping for a better life.

It makes me so happy when so see you making comments like this and taking a stand and speaking up. Please don’t stop.

When the BBC give you “a talking to” (on government writ) will they show you this … or some small print on your contract.
Keep it up ✊❤️- silence is complicity.
