I sell cash-secured puts and run the Wheel every single week. Have for years. Boring pays.
But it took me 30 years and hundreds of thousands in losses to learn what actually works.
So I wrote it all down. 5 books. The Financial Freedom Books Series:
1. Poor to Rich
Start here. Compounding, dividends, the Wheel, CSPs and covered calls from zero. Plus my own climb from a job I hated to financial independence.
2. Options Trading A to Z
For when the basics feel easy. Greeks, IV timing, LEAPS, credit spreads, Poor Man's Covered Calls. The roadmap from $50K to $500K.
3. The Mindset That Shapes Real Financial Freedom
Knowing what to do doesn't make you do it. 9 money myths that keep smart people stuck.
4. Sarah's Journey
A dental hygienist. $500 to start. Her first premium: $18. About 5 years later her premiums covered her bills.
5. Turn Your Retirement Accounts Into a Paycheck
50+? Your 401(k) or IRA is the biggest pile you own and it's asleep. Make it pay you weekly and monthly.
Each one stands alone. Together they're the full playbook. Pick the one that fits where you are.

Few years ago my dividends portfolio paid me $5,000 a year and that was a great achievement
Now I make more than that a month selling options
Once you learn it, get used to it, there is no going back

Buying short term options, you need to be right about direction, timing, and magnitude. All three, in a few days.
Selling short term options, you just need to be roughly right, or wrong slowly.
Buyers are betting on a move. Sellers are betting on time. Time wins way more often than a guess does.

Buying stock gives you one decision. Buy or don't.
Selling options gives you four.
You pick the strike. You pick the expiration. You pick when to take the win. You pick when to cut the loss.
Most people trade like they only have one lever. Options traders have four hands on the wheel.

Getting tested doesn't mean panic. It means decide: roll down and out, or just take assignment.
Rolling isn't admitting defeat. It's buying yourself more time and more premium on a trade you still believe in.

As an options trader and long term investor I want to connect with accounts of similar interests that share valuable subject-related information here
Let me know which accounts are those that worth a follow

If you’re selling Cash-Secured Puts with a $100,000 account, a realistic expectation is generating roughly $1,500 to $3,000 per month in option premium.
Can you make $5,000 to $8,000 per month?
Absolutely.
But in most cases, that means taking significantly more risk by selling puts on highly volatile stocks.
That is where many traders break Rule #1 of Cash-Secured Put selling:
Only sell puts on companies you would be happy to own for years.
The higher the premium, the greater the risk. If the stock falls and you get assigned, you should be comfortable holding the shares, not hoping for a bounce.
Successful Cash-Secured Put sellers focus on consistency first and income second.
Chasing the highest premiums often leads to the lowest long-term returns.

🚀 First Full Year of Options Selling Complete! ✅
One year ago I found the 🎡 Option Wheel and previously chased stocks or HY dividends. Learned a ton from books (@RolfOptions ), YouTube (@smbcapital), and charting (@tradingview). I've traded with @etrade @tastytrade and @RobinhoodApp.
I realized that if I was really going to understand better, I should have a 🏞️trailguide, so huge thanks to @LEAPTRADER_ for being with me the full year.
📢I’m calling my first 365 days a huge win.
👇Here’s what the journey looked like:

How do I decide which cash-secured puts to sell?
I start with one question:
“Would I be happy owning this stock at this price?”
Only then do I look at:
• Delta
• Premium
• Support levels
Too many traders start with the premium.
The stock should come first.
The option is just the vehicle 💰
