A phone saved Tetiana's life at Dnipro railway station.
She was speaking to her mother when a Russian shrapnel hit her phone directly at her ear instead of her head. Wounded in the back, she is in hospital. Russia is targeting peaceful commuters. #Dnipro #WarCrimes

When “Star Trek: The Next Generation” premièred, in 1987, a newspaper referred to its leading man as an “unknown British Shakespearean actor.” Patrick Stewart, who was then 47 and had spent 14 years as a full-time member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, was catapulted into pop-culture fame as Jean-Luc Picard. In the years after, he continued his illustrious stage acting and embodied other cult-TV figures, such as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” series. In 2023, the actor sat down with Michael Schulman to discuss his new memoir, “Making It So,” filled with tales of driving Paul McCartney’s car, learning to be Captain Picard, and trading quips with Queen Elizabeth.
Kromě čištění vody jsme vedli i preventivní kampaň. Podpořili jsme i místní zdravotní centra. To vše díky Klubu přátel, a tak moc děkujeme všem, kteří přispívají. ❤️

To nesmíme nikdy dopustit,“ říká lékař Josef Mališ.

🕯️🕯️ Nech dnešný večer prinesie pokoj do našich domovov, oddych duši a radosť zo spoločných chvíľ. 🍷

We are deeply saddened to hear that the celebrated stage and screen actor Sir Patrick Stewart has died at the age of 86.
Stewart's extensive work across seven decades ranged from highly acclaimed Shakespearean roles to the hugely popular X-Men and Star Trek franchises.
ALT Sir Patrick Stewart is sitting on a window banquette wearing black tie and smiling at the camera. He is leaning his right elbow on the arm of the banquette and is pictured against a wintry London skyline that can be seen through the window behind him. The image is black and white.
