It has been a good month so far: R01 officially funded (thank you @theNCI !) and three new papers online! All three featuring our favorite MISTRG mouse. Still model development/optimization... the real science will hopefully follow soon!
This is the project that got me interested in translational research, when Steph presented @YaleMed Grand Rounds: two MDS patients from diagnosis to cure/death to humanized mouse avatar. I understood the meaning of "unmet medical need" and the impact our mice can have!
