Hey @Kalshi, appreciate you amplifying the story. I broke this news to my followers before your post, with a link to the official Texas announcement. You posted the same story without crediting anyone or even linking to the source. A little attribution goes a long way. Receipts below. 👇 @XCreators
🚨 BREAKING: TEXAS JUST TOOK THE H-1B FIGHT TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller announced that businesses employing H-1B visa workers will no longer qualify for certain taxpayer-funded state grants. Read that again. Companies can choose to hire H-1B workers. But Texas taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize that decision. And Miller isn’t stopping there. He’s challenging Governor Greg Abbott and other state officials to adopt similar restrictions across their agencies. This could go far beyond agriculture. Here’s the question every governor should answer: Why are American taxpayers subsidizing companies that hire foreign workers while qualified Americans struggle to find jobs? Should all 50 states follow Texas? texasagriculture.gov/News-Ev…

After 10 years of Trump era we are still talking about doing something? We have seen this script during Trumps first Term You gave tax cuts to corporations, they fired all American workers, hired visa workers, offshored more jobs and did share buybacks Most ungrateful assholes
Vice President JD Vance on President Trump’s economic policy: “We’ve actually rewarded American and any other company, if they’re willing to build in the United States, in Michigan, with American workers.”

You all should’ve listened to @NickJFuentes
Jaxton Tayte Collins, a 21-year-old Montana man, faces up to five years in prison after telling an Indian man to “go back to his country” during an encounter in downtown Helena. Prosecutors have charged Collins with felony malicious intimidation or harassment and misdemeanor assault, although he disputes the allegation that he physically shoved the Indian man. @Microsoft Microsoft not hiring local American talent, but hiring these +3500 F1 foreign students because they are already in the USA to save 7.5% FICA tax. For this reason, US graduates are passed over in favor of foreign graduates on OPT/CPT, not necessarily because they are better qualified, but because they are cheaper for the employer to hire. At the same time, US companies effectively get workers who are pressured into working extra hours for the same salary/wages. These workers are less able to say no to excessive work demands because their immigration status and future employment prospects are tied to their jobs. This creates another serious disadvantage for US graduates. Those first three critical years of professional experience are lost when they cannot secure entry-level employment, while foreign graduates on OPT/CPT accumulate experience, skills, promotions, and higher-level responsibilities. The resulting experience gap puts US graduates at a significant disadvantage later in their careers. Furthermore, US companies can sponsor these OPT/CPT workers for H-1B visas, continuing the same employment relationship. The incentive remains because employers can expect these workers to accept additional work hours and demanding conditions that US workers may be more willing to reject. Microsoft hires foreign F1 students with OPT+STEM work authorization and try to convert them to H1B after 3 years, or let them keep working full-time on Day1CPT programs for 3-4 more years with an online 2nd/3rd Master's degree. When that savings is multiplied across even 3500+ new hires, it amounts to substantial money that goes directly to the company's bottom line. Equally, a foreign student will take that same job for 7-10% less than a citizen graduate because foreign students also do not pay FICA taxes either! In effect, the system creates a labor-market advantage for employers by giving them access to foreign workers who are more dependent on maintaining their employment. The result is a system in which US graduates lose opportunities to foreign graduates not because of differences in talent or qualifications, but because immigration-linked employment creates a lower-cost and more employer-dependent workforce. teapawt.net/LayoffAI/status/211560…

I’m sick and tired of these foreign fucks coming to our country and demanding we dedicate a month to their garbage cultures, claiming they helped shape it for the better when they’re just parasites who take and destroy. You have no right to a month or even a day. Go the fuck home.
Indian-born Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi introduces a bipartisan resolution to designate July as “Indian American Heritage Month,” backed by nearly 60% of the House. Krishnamoorthi says more than 5.2 million “Indian Americans” live in the US, declaring: “Indian Americans have helped shape this country for generations…to honor that legacy and celebrate the many ways Indian Americans continue to enrich our country.” Follow: @AFpost

Blackrock controlled companies are purging white Christian males.
Ohhhh $MSFT seriously??? American workers out. H-1B workers stay? If these cuts aren’t about performance, what exactly is the criteria for deciding whose job goes?

Strongly advise folks @Microsoft being impacted to get a consultation before signing anything and see if others would consider moving towards a class action.
‼️BREAKING EXCLUSIVE LEAK: 10/28 Microsoft Company Wide AMA Meeting LEAKED “We are going to be global. And we are going to continue to bring global talent to the United States.” “We want to recognize it’s super important we take care of the people (green card workers).” This comes just 2 days after Microsoft asked nearly 60k of its employees to voluntarily resign in an effort to downsize. The employee who leaked this clip of the meeting to me was one of many who have expressed concerns to me. Multiple Microsoft employees have told me they feel as though MSFT doesn’t give them the same amount of respect and care. Many Microsoft employees are asking why H-1B workers aren’t the first to be cut during a downsize since MSFT claims none of the downsizing is performance based. Employees are curious why American workers aren’t being put first in the United States.

55% of under 40 conservatives supported replacing Congress with AI.
I would never fire anyone and replace them with AI... unless they were a member of Congress.

lol every company is the same or of not worse than Microsoft when it comes to hiring visa workers over Americans
I don't care what it costs, i want this company broken, its visa scam employees stripped of assets, and deported, and its leadership in prison.
12
Bro you didn’t ban Microsoft from visas. only PERM, they are still getting their h1B visa, L1, OPT, H4 visa workers. There no change in their hiring practices of firing practices. Talking tough as usual with little to zero action.
“Clarity”? Happy to translate. Don’t screw American workers. Don’t use visa programs as a back door into our nation. We were clear. You were hoping we were kidding. We’re not.

Not true Biden has the highest numbers of visa workers imported ever record to his name
Republicans want to flood America with legal Indians. Democrats want to flood America with illegal Mexicans. Democrats are offering the much better deal.

prime example of why americans will be driven from the workforce in america. All I can do is think that they believe it will never happen to them. Sadly, we know that is not true.
