As prophets have taught, there is no question there are rough times ahead, but the closer we stay to Jesus Christ, and “stand in holy places” the less impact they will have on us. Our safety and protection comes from following the counsel of our prophets and apostles. We can’t save Babylon, it will fall— But we CAN make sure that we place ourselves safely in Zion! (which will be a “refuge and defense” against the calamities.) Our society is currently splitting into two groups and it has nothing to do with political parties. The divide is between those who are choosing the ways (and characteristics) of the world, and those who are choosing the ways (and characteristics) of God. Two different paths. Two different destinations. Two completely different experiences as we face the prophesied destruction. Every day, by our words and actions, WE ARE CHOOSING which group we want to be a part of moving forward. Our Pioneer ancestors gave us the blueprint to follow… Draw on the POWER of our COVENANTS. TRUST that we will be led to a place that God has prepared for us. Have FAITH in Jesus Christ, knowing that He will be walking with us every step of the way. And just keep taking one more step forward— no matter how unknown the path, or how tired we may become. Our heritage is one of incredible faith and strength! I am SO grateful that we have living prophets upon the earth to guide us through these troubled times. Jesus Christ is the one leading us on this journey, and Zion IS being built. We can trust Him!

“The blessings of the TEMPLE are helping to PREPARE A PEOPLE who will help PREPARE THE WORLD for the Second Coming of the Lord!” Russell M. Nelson October 2024 GC We are involved in a GREAT work!

“We have never needed positive spiritual momentum more than we do now, to counteract the SPEED with which evil and the darker signs of the times are intensifying. Positive spiritual momentum will keep us moving forward amid the fear and uncertainty created by pandemics, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and armed hostilities. Spiritual momentum can help us withstand the relentless, wicked attacks of the adversary and thwart his efforts to erode our personal spiritual foundation. Today I would like to suggest five specific actions we can take to help us maintain positive spiritual momentum. First: Get on the covenant path and stay there. Second: Discover the joy of daily repentance. Third: Learn about God and how He works. Fourth: Seek and expect miracles. Fifth: End conflict in your personal life. My dear brothers and sisters, with all the pleadings of my heart, I urge you to get on the covenant path and stay there. Experience the joy of repenting daily. Learn about God and how He works. Seek and expect miracles. Strive to end conflict in your life. As you act on these pursuits, I PROMISE you the ability to move forward on the covenant path with increased momentum, despite whatever obstacles you face. And I PROMISE you greater strength to resist temptation, more peace of mind, freedom from fear, and greater unity in your families. God lives! Jesus is the Christ! He lives! He loves us and WILL HELP US!” Russell M. Nelson April 2022 GC We are never forgotten and will never be alone. Expect MIRACLES.
