I love San Antonio. Feels like the one place in America outside FU money doesn’t triumph over family and loyalty to the city and its communities. The spurs, UTSA Coaches, and how many countless successful business thriving here in San Antonio have had how many opportunities to see that greener grass, and chose to stay here for the City! DAWGS each and every one of them. I love it here. #210satx
Best part of Project Marvel was the entire package. This is sad
San Antonio city officials scale back components of Project Marvel, citing economic woes
Talks with the Spurs won't finish until next year, the Alamodome won't get a $1 billion reno and there's no date set for the start of arena construction.

Let’s not act like Baseball is set and the current campaign is a nice add-on.
I’d love to see actual quantitative data for how many recruits FB actually loses because they don’t have a covered practice facility.
Because we can probably guess how much of a difference a BSB Player Dev. Center would make.

I asked Jeff Traylor if this Baylor opening is an opportunity to leverage for more rev share and an expedited timeline for a covered practice pavilion.
His response:
"I just don't like the way that even sounds. I've even used those words before, and I didn't like the way it sounded when I said them. Our motives are pure here. We want the program to be better. We want the City of San Antonio to be better. We want our team to be better.
"I was hired by [Lisa Campos] and President Eighmy, and to even think about the word leverage just kind of makes me not feel good in my spirit."

The UNM game last night was such a cool experience and made us think that we might actually prefer games in smaller stadiums.
The atmosphere feels more personal and you keep running into the same people over and over again. At the tailgate, in the stadium, after the game at Raising Cane’s.
Obviously the experience in those huge 80,000+ stadiums is hard to beat but these smaller venues have their own charm too.
And the atmosphere last night was really good as well!
