Entwined: Vulpine Moon. #picantePit #A #RF #Q I have lived in Canada for 15 years, I ended up writing a book with Canada as a setting, but with Venezuelan flavour. I have become a mosaic of identities: outsider and belonging πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡»πŸ‡ͺ this is my book

Today I found out I can request books to my local library. Two suggestions per month to add to their catalogue. So I requested two books πŸ“š 😁@LifeWithBea @LillyLuWrites

No big deal, just playing around with a Raspberry Pi at work for charity. I’m a software engineer (took some electrical courses in school) so it’s been a long time since I’ve played with wires and stuff.

I’m wondering if this includes cultural stuff. Because I found a Turkish male model that looks exactly like my MMC and I have ideas lmao

Oof I made it if Yarros is following me. Gonna ask her tricks and her secrets to be a successful author. Maybe a one on one convo about what does she think about Maynard compared to Xaden.

Now that my beta readers have had my manuscript for two days, I keep thinking: ahhh this X scene could have been better. This scene needed Y and I didn’t do it. This Z sex scene was not ready. But I won’t touch the MS until the deadline because…

I’m trying not to think about the scenes I cut that e have been good and explain things that are not explained now because I didn’t want to have a lore dump on chapter 6, for example.

I’m letting this be. Not pointing out things. Letting the beta readers read and do their thing. Yassss. Moving on outline book 2.

I talked to my husband about the prequel novella for my five book series, set in 1884, kinda historial fantasy with western (set in Alberta) and he got so excited he said he doesn’t care for my main story anymore and wants to see that prequel one. πŸ˜€ just by the premise alone ❀️

Maybe I should have done more to become an influencer to sell Canadian culture and promote Alberta remaining in Canada. My book depends on Alberta being in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ lmao

I’m reading a book on how to write spicy scenes (really good btw) and one of the intro is the idea to get comfortable writing sex scenes and it takes time. lmao. Not me writing sex scenes first and plot later 😭🀣

Another good point they said is to write not thinking of the audience or that your grandma is gonna read it or your mom. And for the first time o have thought about it. My dad has read dark fantasy romance before and my mom doesn’t read in English (or at all)

Friends to lovers with an attempt at humour. lmao. If this isn’t my book in a single sentence I don’t know what is. Sure, is missing the sex scenes but whatever.
