Genie 4 is legit... real-time world model with photoreal scenes, physics, and people that move and talk. this is exactly the kind of thing you train robots in. xAI better be cooking on this too
This is Genie 4, our most realistic and interactive world model yet. 🌐 Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak.

438K driverless miles in a week in Austin... more than Waymo's weekly avg there. Waymo had a 5 year head start lol. they still lead nationally for now but once Tesla scales this it's not gonna be close
🚨 Tesla's driverless robotaxis logged 438,000 miles in Austin in the week to Oct 18, topping Waymo's Q2 average of 406,000/week in the city, per Robotaxi Tracker. Elon: "It was never a real contest." Waymo still leads across all its markets, but in Austin, Tesla just took the top spot.

Also, who still remembers that back in February, Anthropic refused to let the Pentagon use Claude for war—and the left cheered them as heroes? Now the same people are attacking Elon for doing the same thing, only this time people are actually dying. The double standard clearly shows they don’t care about Ukraine; they’re just anti-America.

Dario wants to price AI by what the answer is worth to you... restart-your-Mac tip for a buck, pharma breakthrough for tens of millions. Sounds a lot like taking a cut of what you build. Nothing announced yet but watch this one
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei just proposed pricing Claude by the value of its output. Here's what you need to know. Amodei says not all tokens Claude produces are worth the same. Some are worth a few cents. Others could be worth tens of millions of dollars. The clip was shared on X on Oct 27, 2026 by Guillermo Flor and has passed 240K views. He gave two examples. Telling someone to restart their Mac is something the model has said 10 million times, worth a dollar or less. Telling a pharma company to move an aromatic ring to the other end of a molecule could be worth tens of millions. He expects pay-for-results pricing, or labor-like pricing by the hour. He also said it's a new industry, so many pricing models will be tried. Today's pricing is simpler. Per Anthropic's S-1, usage-based pricing was 80% of H1 2026 revenue and subscriptions were 20%. Anthropic is heading toward a Q4 IPO. Its May 2026 Series H valued it at $965B post-money. Reaction on X is split. Some call it price discovery for tokens and outcome-based pricing. Others say it can't work for AI that acts like an employee, that price discrimination is hard to pull off, or that free local models weaken the case. Some worry it could mean a cut of what customers build. Key numbers: - Restart-a-Mac tip: said 10M times, worth $1 or less - Pharma molecule tip: potentially tens of millions of dollars - Usage-based pricing: 80% of H1 2026 revenue - Subscriptions: 20% of H1 2026 revenue - Series H valuation: $965B post-money, May 2026 - Current API: Fable 5.1 at $10/$50 per million input/output tokens, Opus 5.5 at $4/$20 Nothing has been announced yet. For now this is Amodei's view of where AI pricing could go.

72 launches from Vandenberg this year... already past all of 2025 with 2+ months to go. And that's just one coast. SpaceX is basically running an airline to orbit at this point
SpaceX just set a NEW launch record in California Falcon 9's latest Starlink mission marked the 72nd launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base in 2026, officially surpassing the previous annual record of 71 set in 2025, with more than two months still remaining The mission successfully deployed 27 Starlink satellites into orbit, while the Falcon 9 booster completed its 26th flight and landed on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean The scale of SpaceX's launch operations and rocket reusability is absolutely incredible And 2026 isn't even over yet

Hopefully we can get CNN Files like we did with Twitter Files to show everything they've knowingly lied, misled, hid from the people who thought they were getting informed by the "news"
SKYDANCE'S FIRST BIG MEMO: TAKE THE BUYOUT, OR COME IN 5 DAYS A WEEK Similar to Microsoft earlier today, except this one comes with a Return to Office mandate (other silent layoff that doesn't always show up in headlines). From co-CEOs David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz: "we recognize that not everyone will see their future here" Those who qualify get "personalized details and terms" and "a window to decide whether to accept this one-time offer." The target: more than $6B in annual cost savings. As @Amanda_Goodall notes, huge layoffs are expected to be part of it.

People often ask me how much my electricity bill went up after buying one, and then are shocked to hear it's only like $34/month.
It's really no wonder EVs are increasing in market share: they're incredibly efficient!

Claude Code just found proof that every app on your phone is listening to your conversations. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. they're using what you say out loud to build your feed. i have the data to prove it. i've suspected this for months but last week something happened that made me finally check. i was on a call with my friend and told him i'm thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend. didn't text it. didn't search it. just said it out loud with my phone on the table. two hours later she opens TikTok next to me and her entire feed is breakups. "signs your relationship is over." "how to heal after a breakup." she looked at me and said "why is TikTok showing me this." i said i don't know. but i did know. i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and ran Claude Code that same night. it scanned every app's background microphone activity for the last 90 days. not just the apps that asked for microphone permission. apps that were supposed to only have access to photos or location but were activating the microphone anyway. what it found: → TikTok activated the microphone 347 times while the app was "closed" in the background → Instagram → 211 background activations → Facebook → 189 → Snapchat → 94 every activation lasted between 3 and 15 seconds. enough to catch a sentence. every one of them tagged a keyword and cached it locally on the phone with a timestamp. Claude Code pulled the full keyword cache: → "breakup" — tagged 4 hours before her feed changed → "moving out" — from a conversation with my mom last Tuesday → "wedding venue" — from a call with my sister about her engagement that i never searched once → "protein powder" — said it out loud to my roommate, had ads for it within an hour → "flight to tokyo" — mentioned it at dinner, saw travel ads the same night those keywords were sitting in a local cache on my phone organized by app with timestamps. TikTok had the most entries. Instagram was second. every single keyword matched a conversation i had out loud near my phone. the scariest one was "wedding venue." my sister told me she's getting engaged on a private call. i never searched it. never typed it. within a day my explore page had engagement rings and venue tours. then Claude Code checked a second phone in the same room. my girlfriend's. same keywords. same timestamps. both phones were picking up the same conversation and tagging it independently. i asked Claude Code how to shut it down. it mapped every app's microphone access and built a permission audit. what i did: → revoked microphone access from every app that doesn't need it to function → disabled background app refresh for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat → turned off "Hey Siri" which keeps the microphone in passive listening mode 24/7 → revoked "nearby interaction" permission which uses ultrasonic audio between devices Claude Code confirmed all four apps lost background microphone access after the changes. i checked her phone too. same steps. took about 3 minutes per phone. within 48 hours both our feeds went completely random. generic content. nothing personal. nothing from our conversations. that's when i knew for sure it was real. the full step by step and the prompt are in the first reply. takes 3 minutes. save it so you don't lose it and send it to anyone who's ever said "my phone is definitely listening to me." it is. now you can prove it and shut it down.

Reich wants to nationalize SpaceX and Starlink... the company that made reusable rockets a thing while governments couldn't. Taking a company because you don't like the owner is just theft with extra steps. Elon's not wrong here
Replying to @CollinRugg
Stealing companies is a serious crime. Prison for Reich.

Barclays finally upgrades $TSLA to Overweight, PT $370 to $450. Their reasons... a possible SpaceX merger and a stronger core business. Took Wall St long enough. The writing's been on the wall for a while
🔼Tesla $TSLA upgraded to Overweight from Equal Weight at Barclays Barclays analyst Dan Levy upgraded Tesla to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $450, up from $370. The firm cites Tesla's merger opportunity with SpaceX, stronger core business outlook, and signs of Robotaxi inflection for the upgrade. The potential merger is driven by vertical integration and Elon Musk's ownership considerations, but a shareholder vote is required, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Barclays attributes the range of a potential takeover premium for the target boost.

SpaceX just locked a ~$40B lease for Nvidia's next-gen Vera Rubin chips... biggest GPU financing ever. Rockets, Starlink, and now a massive compute buildout. Anyone still calling this "just a rocket company" isn't paying attention Lol
SPACEX'S $40 BILLION APOLLO LEASE WILL DELIVER $NVDA'S NEXT-GENERATION VERA RUBIN CHIPS The GPU pods financed under the deal will supply the next generation of Nvidia Vera Rubin chips for SpaceX's terrestrial compute buildout. The equipment will arrive in tranches, each on its own lease schedule, for use at data centers selected by SpaceX. Rent is paid quarterly in advance, generally one-twentieth of each tranche's financed cost plus a fixed rate on the outstanding balance, with the rate set at pricing before the lease is signed.
