2 of our Royal Navy cadets were invited to attend the @RoyalNavy #InternationalWomensDay celebrations at @HMSPresidentRNR today! They joined inspiring women from across the RN to honor the achievements and contributions of women in maritime service. #IWD2025
It was especially lovely for our Lord Lieutenant Cadet Katie A to meet former 2SL who served together with her dad and @CdreRBellfield ! Small world!
In our Royal Navy section, during @CCFcadets , our newest cadets learnt the rules of the road in a more ‘hands on’ approach via #Origami

After our ship’s visit, the next day, we were this time at HMS Excellent learning about firefighting.
Thank you to all staff for their time and dedication. Thank you to @RoyalNavy and @CCFcadets for offering these truly unique and amazing opportunities to young people.
We had the great privilege to spend a full day on @RFATidespring . What a fantastic experience we had and we would like to thank her Captain and her crew for their warm hospitality.

Joke and fun aside, it was really helpful to understand the hazards and dangers on a vessel like this that could happen and how important fire training is.
We simply had the most amazing day onboard @RFATidespring and you gave us a lot of food for thoughts as to consider a career at sea with @RFAHeadquarters
