My first article! Very grateful to have had our article published in War & Society - thank you to the reviewers and the team at @warsocjournal for the opportunity!
Based in Australia we're always pleased to feature research by Australian scholars such as this by @RylesJade & Paul Sendziuk of @UniofAdelaide which considers societal concerns re sons of absent servicemen during SWW. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…. Download now! Open access!

Thanks to everyone who attended my #OzHa2024 presentation today! It was a great experience and it was nice to catch up with old and new faces! #histchild
A moving experience to be able to visit the National Australia Remembers Freedom Wall while in Brisbane today
I did the thing (feat cake by @tesswatty and the dirty window of Napier level 3)
For all those invested... it has been a success

@CaitlinMerlin and i are now dealing with the knowledge that @RylesJade uses the CUT function when moving files, just deletes the files before they're pasted in the new place?? i've never met anyone else in my life with this confidence when moving files??
it's going to be a long night ...

none of us can leave this office until jade's computer finishes this task, i cant simply go home with this anxiety hanging over me, and it's only done 4 of 26 files. the only detail i know is one document is called "grant application" and i can't handle any more

It was great to be able to present my research at the @FriendsAdelaide Discovery Series event!
