India must carefully watch and scrutinise the coming G 3 meeting, not for resolving Ukraine or Iran wars but for long term global implications. Trump can conceed any thing but how far China and Russia will go with him?

With Nobel Peace to Navi Pillay, Trump has another grouse against Indian global diaspora, and BRICS members. They, after getting educated in US universities, have snatched "his prize" and and "deserving glory".

Naming and shaming of the West has been avoided. This was prudent as the West itself stands divided. But message on unilateral decisions and rejection of hegemonic assertion is very clear. This applies to the US as both China and Russia are signatories to the Declaration.
How Delhi managed to keep the BRICS summit 'boring' and non controversial:

Deeply shocked and shaken by the tragedy in Nepal, my first academic love. Heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families. The nature that rocked Tibet has devastated Nepal and threatens India. Time for all the three to get together and restore their harmony with nature.

PM Balen Shah of Nepal has done well to clarify his position on Hindu राष्ट्र, Monarchy and Nepal's federalism. This must set at rest the vestedinterests' manipulations against Nepal's constitution on these critical issues. Balen must speak more frequently on these issues.

There is stark contrast between present youth protests in India and earlier uprisings in Nepal and Bangladesh. In India, State has not collapsed and security establishments are still loyal. The Indian protests are also non-violent, and not destructive unlike in other cases.

Indonesia and it's SEAsian neighbours give a great culture message to India. Preserve and protect minority religious monuments and civilizational inheritance with respect. Do not destroy them to assert majority religion's dominance and vitiate India's composite culture.

Ravi Lamichhane's emphasis on "developmental diplomacy" in Nepal's foreign policy is welcome. But it is unrealistic to reject "power centric diplomacy" which is hard-core reality of International Relations. In ultimate analysis, power equations shape developmental engagements.

Hopes aroused by RSP president and FM Khanal visits to India have raised lot of hope for new relationship between two countries. Much would however depend upon how Nepal responds in reality in resolving disputed issues and accommodates India's security concerns.
