Valentyna and Andriy Myronenko and Serhiy Smykalov were seized in occupied Berdiansk in February 2025. They were reportedly held incommunicado for two weeks before being charged. Then came 19 months of near-total silence — until their sentences were announced.
The occupation court has not even disclosed the judge’s identity or whether hearings took place. No publicly available evidence substantiates the alleged sabotage plot.

Вони сиділи в тиші, не видаючи жодного звуку. Кроки наближалися.
Окупанти зірвали двері - і Боксер дав коротку чергу просто крізь них. Один упав. Другий відскочив із криком: "Вы че, мы свои, русские!"
І тут стала в пригоді "горлівська російська" Боксера. Сергій родом із окупованої Горлівки - і заговорив до ворога так, ніби свій:

Він тягнув час, тримаючи в руці чеку гранати. Коли силует ворога з'явився в отворі - кинув Технарю: "Давай!" Той влучним пострілом закінчив справу.

Коли росіянин вийшов на зв'язок зі старшим, той підтвердив: "Да, Озорной трехсотый". Ворог повірив остаточно - і вказав їм дорогу до своїх.
Щойно окупанти випустили хлопців із хати, ті рвонули городами й полем.
Боксер кричав на все горло: "Хлопці, ми свої!" З окопу вискочив боєць у пікселі з жовто - блакитним шевроном.
Опинившись на позиції, Боксер одразу вийшов на комбата: "Там біля школи збірний пункт - насипте туди з усього!"
Попереду - евакуація під дощем на MaxxPro, госпіталь і важкі операції. А в списках зниклих стало на два прізвища менше.

SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses
The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see.
On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior)
Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable.

Ukraine is taking its long-range strike campaign deeper into the machinery that keeps Russia's weapons production running.
On Sunday, British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles were reported to have struck the Energia plant in Yelets, a Russian facility associated with the production of specialized batteries used in military equipment, including Iskander ballistic missiles, Pantsir air-defence systems and guided munitions.
The reported attack follows strikes against other Russian electronics manufacturers, including Kremniy-El in Bryansk, VZPP-S in Voronezh and Proton in Oryol.
These facilities represent different links in Russia's military supply chain. Microelectronics, semiconductors, power systems and specialized components are essential to manufacturing sophisticated weapons. Damaging a production site can create problems that extend well beyond the immediate physical destruction, particularly when replacement equipment and specialized components are difficult to obtain.
Russian military commentators have expressed growing frustration over the apparent vulnerability of such facilities. Accounts of the Energia strike describe mobile air-defence teams attempting to counter incoming missiles, raising questions about the protection available to strategically important factories.
Meanwhile, Russian sources have drawn attention to the extensive air-defence infrastructure reportedly surrounding Vladimir Putin's Valdai residence. Claims that approximately 50 defensive positions protect the area have circulated, although the precise deployment and the comparisons with industrial sites require independent verification.
The contrast raises an uncomfortable question for Russia's military planners: how should limited air-defence resources be distributed between political leadership, population centres and the industrial infrastructure sustaining the war?
The full extent of the damage at Energia remains unclear, and claims about production disruptions or casualties have not been independently established.
But Ukraine's apparent focus on Russia's defence-industrial supply chain reflects a broader objective. Rather than simply intercepting Russian weapons after they are launched, Kyiv is seeking to disrupt the facilities that help manufacture them.
And the deeper those strikes reach, the more difficult Russia's task of protecting its vast military-industrial network becomes.

This is what Kyiv's Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge looks like after a Russian attack. Residents are crossing it on foot to get to work.
Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones. Kyiv was the main target. Sixteen people were injured and one person was killed.
Russians struck a university campus and the surrounding area in the city. Five of those injured are university students and staff members. Two second-year students have already undergone surgery after suffering severe injuries, and another neurosurgical operation is needed, according to the university's rector.
A metro station, schools, a dormitory, an office building, residential buildings, and other civilian facilities were damaged in Kyiv.
One of the offices of DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, was also damaged.

BREAKING: Romania has exposed a russian-run sabotage network targeting arms factories and military facilities across Europe.
Three suspects — two Belarusians and one Ukrainian — are accused of involvement in the September fire near the Carfil defense plant. Two were arrested in Germany while allegedly preparing similar attacks; the third was located in Poland.
Romania says the network also targeted facilities used to train Ukrainian troops.
This is russia’s war against Europe, too. Stop pretending otherwise.

Mykhailo Drapatyi, Ihor Obolenskyi, and Pavlo Palisa reported on the initial results and progress of Operation Veles, carried out by the Khartiia 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine. More than 100 Russian occupiers have already been eliminated, and more than 30 have been taken prisoner. The underground advance has exceeded 15 kilometers.
The Russians had already tried to use underground gas pipelines to move through our positions and launch assault operations.
