Milt story: Was at Ballard under Bocko early 90s, and Milt stopped by to sell us straw hats. He said “Boy, y’all gotta get some of them hats, they’re real ‘Pisscutters’!” We had no idea what a pisscutter was, but we knew We HAD to get those hats. 😂😂😂😂

@SHIVELYSPORTS closing is like losing an old friend. From the days of 2-for-1 Whopper coupons to Milt screaming “you’re killing me, baby,”they all busted their butts to make sure everyone was taken care of. Please...everyone support all their staff that have moved to BSN Sports

Mike Flanders is awesome and does a great job in working with many offices and departments at UofL and he’s always prompt, positive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with!

Shively Sporting Goods is closing its retail store at Dixie & Crums. Lots of great memories tied to there. Truly hate to see an iconic South End business close. – at Pleasure Ridge Park, KY

They came along way from the sporting good store that Bobby Flanders started. I remember when they had saddles on display.

Losing Shively Spring Goods hurts... it hurts bad... one of the last remaining institutions I could point to in our end of town that couldn't be matched ANYWHERE in Louisville...
Thank you guys for everything...
