Watson is starting in the final year of a fully guaranteed $230M deal with massive dead money still attached. Monken can say he “gives the best chance to move the ball” and that he saw more at the top end, but the organization has every financial reason to keep giving him the snaps while the guarantees are still on the books.
Shedeur didn’t “lose” in a vacuum. The coaching staff has repeatedly praised both as starting-level options, Monken has kept Shedeur as the clear QB2 even after Gabriel returned, and external markets (Polymarket trade interest) still price him with real value. The “he’s just on the bench because he lost” framing ignores the contract reality and the fact that no other 5-2 team is this invested in protecting a high-guaranteed veteran at the expense of the younger option behind him.

According to Mouse Jones, Jay-Z has gotten so comfortable and protected that his interviews come off soft. He brought up Frazier Tharpe's GQ interview with Jay and said the questions Frazier asked were soft. His argument is that Jay doesn't really let himself be challenged, so nobody asks the hard questions about his politics or being a billionaire. 🎙️
Charlamagne said nah. He argued Jay-Z will engage, but it depends on who's sitting across from him. If you walk in treating him like he's untouchable, that's the interviewer's failure, not Jay's. Whoever holds the platform sets the tone and has to ask the questions.
Then it got heated. Mouse brought up Barclays and gentrification, saying Jay-Z became the face of it by letting himself be on the billboards for a project that changed Brooklyn and pushed out longtime residents.

Grateful to report that after @sneako retained me to expose and rebut the lies and deep fakes being spread about him, @AkademiksTV did the right thing and deleted both posts targeting my client on the same day.
I always appreciate when people do the right thing when they are put on notice that the information they are spreading is false.
I urge everyone to always verify before they post - because while both posts have been deleted, they received millions of views prior.
We cannot contribute to a world where false information is spread to millions and causes damage. It’s important people verify authenticity of what they post before they post it. Nonetheless on a personal level I always appreciate when people end up doing the right thing and delete the false posts to stop the spread of misinformation
I’m not the kind of guy that likes to ask “how about them apples” and rub in a victory. However I felt it important to show that the second post was also deleted below so people understand that it was deleted because it had false defamatory attacks against my client.
And it is ok and shows maturity when someone who posts false information to does right thing and delete it. That is more respectable than the alternative.
Otherwise those who dig their heals in and continue to spread false information after put on notice could be found to recklessly engaging in defamation.
