It was Stokes Birthday four days prior and they hadn’t won a test match in 6 months. If that’s not cause for a little celebration then what’s the point? They’re not school kids, they’re adults. Yes there’s a time and a place but majority of people would do the same.

Am I missing something? In what world would celebrating a win after a test match require A - a midnight curfew with 10 days between the next Test and B - this media furore in calling his resignation. They were celebrating a victory, someone started on them…time to move on
