California schools could soon close for two Islamic holidays under a bill moving closer to Gov. Gavin Newsom's desk.
The legislation formally recognizes Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, allows public schools and community colleges to close for both holidays and lets state employees use existing paid holiday credits to observe them.
Supporters call it equal treatment for Muslim families. A conservative Christian group opposing the school provisions argues California law doesn't offer comparable language allowing schools to hold exercises celebrating Christmas, Easter or Good Friday.
The bill overwhelmingly cleared the Assembly 64-1 and now needs Senate approval before the legislative session ends Monday.

Just the smear. That was the entire lesson.
Parents have no idea what their kids are actually being taught — and even less idea of what is being deliberately erased.

The California Supreme Court heard arguments concerning an election fraud investigation in Riverside County in which ~650,000 ballots were seized by Sheriff Chad Bianco. As soon as it was discovered, Democrat Attorney General Rob Bonta put a stop to the investigation with a court order. This is the continuation of the battle.
Interestingly, the California legislature immediately passed a bill forbidding future investigations by local law enforcement officers, and Gavin Newsom signed it into law.
In a related note, the legislature also passed the so-called "anti-Nick Shirley Act", which effectively forbids inquiry by journalists into potentially fraudulent "immigration services" of the type he found here in California and in Minnesota.
So in summary, the Democrat regime here has rapidly passed laws forbidding the investigation of election fraud and immigration services fraud. The Democrats do not want people looking into what they're doing, so they pass laws CRIMINALIZING INQUIRY.

You cannot have a legitimate discussion about climate change unless you discuss climate engineering first and foremost. You can't eliminate the biggest part of the puzzle of all. These people have to be held accountable.
Raytheon, one of the largest weather modification players, does all the weather modeling for the National Weather Service and NOAA. You have the foxes, quite literally, running the henhouse. Lockheed Martin does all the modeling for the FAA. We have a lot of disaster capitalists on this, as I mentioned, Monsanto. We have weather trading derivatives going on. So while they're trying to hide the full scope of damage with climate engineering, by doing even more damage at the same time from the same programs, they're also running gaming casinos on the stock market for weather trading derivatives. So they decide whose crops fail, whose don't. The media's betrayal is astounding. Are you opposed to that?

The 9/11 hero they tried to erase.On the morning of September 11, 2001, William Rodriguez was in the sub-basement of the North Tower doing his job as a janitor, a job he’d held for nearly 20 years.
He carried one of only five master keys that could open every stairwell and door in the building.
At 8:46 a.m., Rodriguez felt a massive explosion erupt from below him in the mechanical room on B2 level. The blast threw people into the air, cracked walls, dropped ceilings, and activated sprinklers. Seconds later the plane slammed into the upper floors.A coworker, Felipe David, came running toward him with skin hanging from his arms and face, screaming “Explosion!”
Rodriguez didn’t run. But when Rodriguez kept telling the truth, that the first explosion came from the basement, before the plane impact everything changed.
Mainstream media told him to “cut that part out.” His full testimony was omitted from the official 9/11 Commission Report. He became persona non grata. The man who risked everything to save lives that day was suddenly sidelined for refusing to stay silent about what he saw and heard.
His story matches accounts from hundreds of other first responders who reported explosions in the basements and elevators that day.

In 2006 a Stanford PhD student published a mathematics textbook that nobody outside academia read.
Google used it to build PageRank. Renaissance Technologies used it to manage $130 billion. Every jet engine flying today solves the same type of problem 50 times per second.
His name is Stephen Boyd. He teaches EE364A at Stanford. His students start at $400K at Citadel, $350K at Two Sigma, and $300K at Google DeepMind. He has been cited over 140,000 times. This is lecture 1.
He opens with one claim.
Everything is an optimization problem.
Choose variables. Define an objective - what you want to minimize or maximize. Add constraints - things that must be satisfied or the answer is completely unacceptable, no matter how close. Find the point with the best objective value that satisfies every constraint.
That is all of engineering, all of statistics, and all of finance in four sentences.
Then portfolio optimization. You have 5,000 assets. You need to choose how much of each to hold. Constraints: budget, maximum concentration per name, minimum expected return. Objective: minimize risk. Boyd says he is not aware of a single quantitative hedge fund that does not solve this exact problem with convex optimization. Not one.
Then the counterintuitive thing that the entire course is built around.
Two problems can look nearly identical. One is easy. One is impossible. It is not obvious which is which until you know what he is about to teach you.
Example: do not hold more than half your portfolio in any collection of 100 names. Convex. Solvable instantly. Do not hold more than 100 names total. Not convex. Genuinely hard. Same portfolio. Same constraint in spirit. Completely different mathematics.
Then the job offer nobody gives you but everybody should.
He tells the room that when they go to an internship, nobody will say this might be a convex problem. They will hand you 400 pages of domain complexity and tell you it is impossible. Your job is to come back the next day and say it is done. One of his students did exactly this. Finished in a week. Was the best intern the firm had seen.
A quant I know rewatched this before their first week at a systematic macro fund. Said it was the first time optimization felt like a skill rather than a topic.

They blocked the one thing your immune system needs to fight off cancer. Then sold you a chemical that goes into your blood and mimics hormones. Melanoma rates have increased 320% since 1975, the very time when sunscreen use became common.

They didn’t stop you from getting cancer. They have taken away your defense against it and charge you $14 a bottle.
15 minutes of full sun per day. Nothing on the screen. Face and bare arms. Your body produces 10,000-20,000 IU of Vitamin D in that timeframe. The dosage they sell you in pills because they blocked the free version.
