I’m happy to share my first published paper, now in the Journal of Theoretical Biology! Thanks to my incredible co-authors: my advisor @cgershen and Stu Kauffman.
“Life Finds a Way” uses a simple network model to explore how cooperative structures can emerge even when competition and harmful interactions are widespread. The idea is that organisms create opportunities for one another, and as a community grows, those connections can give rise to new levels of organization.
I’m excited to share this as a step toward understanding how life tinkers together communities, and how those communities make more life possible.
