Major crime in Aurora is down 38.8% under Chief Todd Chamberlain.
Homicides down 63.6%. Nearly 10,000 fewer victims.
Activists just stayed until ~2:30 a.m. demanding he be fired. City Manager Batchelor said no—crime is down, morale is up, and the department is improving.
The city manager decides whether the chief stays. A short personal email from people who want the progress to continue carries more weight than a late-night sit-in.
Email [email protected] and cc [email protected]. Tell them why safer streets matter to you.
Should the chief’s job rest on the crime numbers or the sit-in?

RIP to a genuinely kind man 🙏
We're saddened by the loss of former Broncos General Manager John Beake, who passed away at the age of 87.
Beake, who was with the Broncos from 1979-2000, guided the organization's front office to five Super Bowl appearances, including our back-to-back victories in SB XXXII & SB XXXIII.
