BREAKING: The US Department of Justice is reviewing the forceful ejection of fans wearing XX-XY t-shirts at Friday's Portland Thorns game.
"The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act."
A DOJ spokesperson also told me, "Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than sex discrimination. The Department is reviewing it."

This is 78-year-old Pastor Edward Nalwamba.
He fled persecution in Uganda for his pro-democracy beliefs and has spent decades living and preaching in America.
ICE detained him for 13 months.
Today, ahead of his release, our staff visited the detention facility and asked GEO staff to let him call his caretakers and provide a wheelchair to get him to his ride home. He cannot walk.
GEO staff assured us they would do both. They failed to deliver on either.
No phone call.
No wheelchair.
No human decency.
There is no excuse for this cruelty. None.
While we are celebrating Pastor Nalwamba’s release, we will not stop holding those responsible for this accountable.

It’s hard to put into words the emotions I feel knowing my children are proud of their ol’ dad. There is no award, title, or accomplishment in this world that could ever mean more to me than that.
The greatest accomplishment of my life isn’t a book I’ve written, a mission I’ve led, or anything I’ve achieved publicly. It’s loving one woman with all my soul and being the father to our five amazing children, with our sixth precious child awaiting us in Heaven.
If I’ve done anything right in this life, I pray it’s that my children know how deeply they are loved, that their dad has always tried to lead with his heart, and that no matter what this world brings, they will always have my love.
To my beautiful bride and our children, I love you more than words could ever communicate. You are my greatest earthly treasure, and loving you is a privilege I will never take for granted. ❤️
