Best comp to this situation would be the Giants and Eli Manning in 2004.
That Giants team had Kurt Warner (33) who had them out to a 4-1 start before a 1-3 stretch.
Eli Manning took over a 5-4 team in Week 11. New York lost the next six games and ended the season 6-10.
#Raiders coach Klint Kubiak made clear that “there is no controversy” — Kirk Cousins will start this week.
As for Fernando Mendoza, “Fernando is going to play at some point, but it’s not going to be this week.”

3 things
1. I’m really glad that the Crying Jordan meme has finally been retired.
2. No idea how a Charlie Wilson Tiny Desk performance of Outstanding ended up being the replacement.
3. I know the loss in Paris was tough, but this lowkey almost makes it worth it.

You may not have noticed but Chase Young is having a generational season. Here he only uses his left hand to long arm then rip. Steelers LT had no shot. @RosvoglouReport @RossJacksonNOLA

This dude would rather write an entire incorrect story than learn the rules to the game he writes about for a living.
Sadly, only the second-most wrong he’s been on an NFL topic in the past week.
Cleveland's long late gain by TE Harold Fannin Jr. should have been nullified by a blatant false start. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

#Saints HC Kellen Moore said the team has not made any changes to how the staff builds the run game.
"It's a collaborative opportunity for all of us. (OL Coach Brendan Nugent) and (Run Game Coordinator T.J. Paganetti) do a lot of the prep work leading up to it. From there, I get involved, and we get a collaborative effort with the entire offensive staff."

“Nearly a year and a half into this era, I have yet to recognize a philosophical underpinning guiding this team. In fact, this team’s identity—if you can call it that—is quickly being formed by the negatives. The inability to script a competent opening series. An offense operating on siloed, inefficient play-calling that lacks any sequence or connective tissue.”
