On #RemembranceDay we rightly think of those who died. But pause & think of those survivors of the Great War too: men who walked to the edge and came back, were left with debilitating injuries, and memories they would struggle to escape from. For them, the Great War never ended.

She is our oldest resident. Little Bridget fell off a bridge when a truck scared her and she got stuck by the river.
We had a very special day of spoiling her today. She is my secret little favorite. So happy with her lot in life even as she ages and her eyes have failed her

Our servicemen and women give their lives for their country and people.
Last night at Durham Cathedral, 100,000 poppies fell from the central tower.
Among them were the names of the 457 who died in Afghanistan.
My son took one of the poppies home.
We will never forget.

My Dad was only 20 years old when was killed in Normandy in August 1944 two months before I was born.
He was younger than three of my grandchildren are now.
He has always been a hero to me.

The good news for Bella is that she has already lost 9kg or 23 lbs in 3 months.
The bad news is she only just appeared on the chart.
Her face says it all. Lots more dieting and exercise to do still. We all know how it feels 😅

6 weeks ago this is how we found Bruno on the side of the street. He had been hit and dragged under a car. Nobody was stopping.
You won’t believe the ending today for lovely Bruno… (1/6)

So Miliband is snorkeling in the Caribbean whilst we all struggle with the cost of living back home. I couldn't hate this clown and this government more.

I get asked so often about his backstory. This explains how I found him, how he was all out of options and how he became Nurse Hank.
