Playing against Chelsea in a final when they’re underdogs is one of the most terrifying things in football

🚨 Maresca on his tactical game plan: "PSG have three midfielders and two of them were in charge of Reece and Moi. Vitinha was in charge of Enzo. We thought it was a good chance to exploit the space with Cole and Malo. It was the game plan” #CFC

This João Félix performance is the reason why I’ve always backed him. If you can’t see why he’s a top player, you simply don’t understand football.

Like last season, when Madueke and Mudryk start, we usually have defensive lapses. They are both poor trackers.

Maresca is making boss moves. He's taking Chelsea by the scruff of the neck. It's the same thing Pep and Arteta did at City and Arsenal. They came in and weed out unsuitable players, including big names in the dressing room. As a manager, you need that authority, backed by the club to work and be respected by the squad. It's stamping your authority, anyone that has a problem with that should walk away, and allow you to build a loyal squad, suitable for your football. When Arteta did it, the media claimed he was losing the dressing room but he was making the dressing room his own, under his control. It worked.

Now that we have signed Joao Felix, and with Osimhen coming in next, I want the FA to refix that opening match against Man. City. Felix on LW Neto on RW Osimhen as ST Palmer/Nkunku behind Osimhen Enzo Fernandez as CAM Lavia x Caicedo CM pairing

If you are Chelsea owners, sporting directors, you will be encouraged by what you see. This is one of those games where the result doesn't tell the whole story.
