Today is a special day because it's Seb Adeniran-Olule’s birthday. He would have been 31 today, except he’s not with us. He’s not on the pitch, where he would have loved to be, side-by-side with his Quins team-mates, packing down in the front row 🖤
Seb died from suicide just over 10 years ago.
Seb’s Foundation was established in 2016, to foster hope & inclusion within rugby clubs and schools & provide training to trusted adults in young people’s lives, to prevent mental health symptoms from going unnoticed.
Keep your eyes peeled at The Stoop today for @sebsfoundation and ways you can donate, or by visiting : sebsfoundation.org/get-invol…

London Irish reportedly heading to the Champ next season. Ideally this will be the end of the parachuting in of teams as
the Champ needs to establish itself as a league with actual credibility.
Plymouth, Irish, Cov, Worcester, Pirates, Ealing, Bedford really isn’t bad.

I've seen some crazy shit in my time.
But a bloke flying round Kingston Park on a jet pack.
And landing on the cross bar.
Is right up there!
The media is like the wind. You can harness it and use it to push yourself around the world. But even those good enough to sail on it recognise it will turn on you in a second. One thing you can’t do is say you don’t need it, that you know better than it, and fight it.

One more push of this if you missed it over the weekend. Impossible not to admire the Slaters.
It’s now over four years since Ed Slater was diagnosed with MND. Went round for a coffee and to watch him at work as a video analyst for Worcester Warriors, a role that’s given him invaluable purpose. Some man.

Piece on a sobering weekend for Prem clubs, a couple of performances notwithstanding. The teams from the league with the most missed tackles missed the most tackles. thetimes.com/sport/rugby-uni…
This set of extraordinary interviews from @edslater and me, are still available to download and listen to. Just as important today as when we recorded them.
We ask the top names in the sport what rugby gave them - unbelievable insight
