The Star Wars story accidentally contains the seeds of this transcendence btw. The galaxy is not saved when Luke conquers his hate and becomes a pacifist. The galaxy is saved when Vader turns his hate towards the Emperor and kills him out of love for his son.

I honestly don’t understand the hate for the Snyderverse costume. The design makes her look like an actual Amazonian warrior who’s been through centuries of battle rather than a fashion model wearing a superhero outfit.

One of the main reasons the Anakin thing is going viral is that its proponents know it's an illiterate reading that will provoke offense. They just don't care. Postmodernists don't care about the facts, just the thrill of transgression. (It's why this scene is popular too.)

Whenever I see some version of “you have to transition to actually be trans” I just wonder how they feel about people who weren’t in safe enough environments to transition. Are they less trans than you bcuz they never got the opportunity?
