10 Things the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Can Do That the iPhone Duo Can't
1. Run a Full Desktop Workstation via Samsung DeX
2. Run 3-Way Split-Screen Multitasking Simultaneously
3. Save and Launch Custom Multi-App Combos (App Pairs)
4. A Persistent, Customisable Multitasking Taskbar
5. Reverse Wireless Charging (Wireless PowerShare)
6. Accept Physical Nano-SIM Cards
7. Separate, Independent Layouts for Cover and Inner Screens
8. Dedicated Flex Mode Touchpad and Media Controls
9. Run Sandboxed Duplicate App Instances (Dual Messenger / Secure Folder)
10. True USB Mass Storage and Full File System Access
there may be more
but just realise
the Z Fold 8 has cons when compared to the iPhone Duo as well
so do your homework before picking your foldable
this is how i've always seen it
that Googlebook is the new Chromebook
it's not a Windows or macOS competitor
and eventually
it'll make it's way into cheaper devices
there's already signs of that
The talk around Googlebooks is frustrating to me. "It's unusable because Gmail has a web app". Uhhh, is the web app fast? Does it work well? "My Outlook app doesn't work well". Yeah. It's a brand new OS and that app is an Android app. Have you tried using... The web? Is it really that hard for people to understand that Googlebooks are similar to Chromebooks? They are built to run some desktop apps, yes. But they are built also around an OS that is very lightweight running on Google Chrome. It's a mixture of an Android device and a Chromebook.
Do I want to see more apps? Yes. But can we stop acting like Googlebooks are unusable? Install a few web apps for regular apps that don't work well. And get to work and enjoy your productivity.
The fact that people are demanding to only do work in an app even though it's exactly the same in the web browser is astonishing to me. I understand some legitimate criticisms. I want to be able to delete multiple things on the desktop at the same time. And we need to be able to bring multiple Chrome OS features over that aren't available yet.
But it's this type of stuff that frustrates me. People that just don't understand the product and who it's for. They create a false perception about the product. Then they criticize Apple because this isn't like their MacBook or their Windows laptop.
A Googlebook is for people who have lightweight needs and they love to use the web or basic apps for doing stuff. And it's meant to give those people a premium experience with premium hardware.
Multiple Chrome profiles are coming soon. This operating system will only get better. But even today it's a good OS for people who just need the basics and love Android.
she said "come on, come on, kiss my battery
Come on, come on, I'll be your Android girl"

Come on, come on and fuck this whole wide world"

reports of the iPhone Duo experiencing screen cracks along the hinge have just begun emerging on platforms like Reddit and the MacRumors forums
because the device was officially released today, these early hardware failures are drawing significant scrutiny
