This is the same guy that said he would delete his X account, and of course he didn't. I am NOT an Apple defender, but SAND is not apart of the dust rating. But this is the same guy who said the Pixel 11 Pro Fold dust resistance meant nothing, only to find out (When he opened up the phone) that dust DIDN'T get into the internal components. Only the hinge. But he didn't mention that, but was happy to say things in such a way to mislead everyone. Just like you punctured the Pixel 10 Pro Fold battery and made people think they will light on fire, even though you tore the phone up and punctured the battery yourself. These IP certifications to my knowledge aren't handed out like candy. There's a reason why it passed the test. And there's a reason why SAND isn't apart of the test. But by all means, keep spreading misinformation and doubling down, or say things so vaguely that your audience will do it on X. I know you love to fight against misinformation. Maybe you can fight against the misinformation your own channel causes
Replying to @contractorsPOV
Sand entering in through the hinge has *direct* access to the backside of the screen where it can then puncture the display. You still have time to delete this.

I'd say my favorite phone would still be the Galaxy S25 Edge. It brings that 200 MP camera to a crazy light basic phone. I love it.
I really want the iPhone Air 2.

Erm… I’ve been getting nervous watching this spot on my #iPhoneDuo. I only noticed it this morning. I see the hinge pressing on this spot from underneath as I start to fold it. And NO, I never press on the screen when folding. I hold from the frame only. Anyone else?

Probably one of the most underrated devices out there. I'm watching NBA League Pass while scrolling X. It looks REALLY good. Not OLED. But like a really nice gigantic 2k to 4k display while I'm disconnecting from the real world. It's a great way to disconnect.

Why would I post long-form content on @Instagram when @YouTube actually pays me to post the same content? 🤷‍♂️

So apparently buying views and subs and then unlisting the videos to hide the evidence is the new strategy. lol. Got it.

Ok I know the iPhone Duo technically is heavy as hell but when you hold it it feels perfectly fine, the weight is distributed very well

I wonder if the iPhone Duo has an official rating for how many folds it can go. This could just be a one-off.
iPhone Duo only lasted for 75,000 folds before catastrophically failing. This is just embarrassing for a Foldable phone. Not to mention the fact that Galaxy Z Fold8 is rated for 200,000 Folds. Honor Magic V6 can fold 500,000 times!

Ouch, how long have you been in tech? The IP rating is for the body of the phone only, not the hinge... Second, the dust used to get an IP rating is like fine talc, not sand. NOTHING in his test is relatable to real world use. Should be marked "for entertainment purposes only"
Apple's $1,999 iPhone Duo failed JerryRigEverything's durability test. Dust got into the hinge despite the IP68 rating and the magnets could no longer hold it shut. The bend test left permanent green lines, then the inner screen died. That screen costs about $999 to replace without AppleCare+. Rough test, but pocket dust is not an edge case. The coverage is part of the price on this one.

The iPhone Duo has a better screen than it gets credit for on X. Dust resistance is a big deal. The app optimization issue will be fixed in a few weeks, and apps will probably be better optimized on Apple versus Android. Video quality will probably be better on the Duo vs the Z Fold 8. There's a lot of foolishness that will go on to get clicks, but a lot of these things are true. But there are counterpoints to all of these things. The screen may be better than some people are saying, but still, I would argue that the Samsung Z Fold is going to have better contrast. It's going to be better in sunlight. I would also argue it has a better overall design that is lighter and thinner and feels more like the future. I would argue the software is more polished today and it will have more customization in the future too. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will have the better main camera since it's a 200 megapixel sensor. There are pros and cons to all of the foldables and the iPhone Duo will be a top foldable that's going to match up well with Samsung and Samsung foldables will match up well with the iPhone Duo. X is going to be full of extreme takes, people on both sides, trying to *bring balance* to thing. Even I tend to do that. I HATE the idea of Apple fanboys pretending Apple invented tht foldable. But there's a balance to all of this that we should try to strike. Let's let people enjoy their fun tech and enjoy these foldables and get excited about them. But let's also not be fanboys and realize that there are other foldables that came first and they are better in a lot of ways too.

Xbox cloud streaming is CRAZY. I'm playing NBA 2K27 on my Meta Quest 3. And it's officially lag-free. This is insane because a couple years ago I couldn't do this. The lag was too much. But now I'm watching NBA League Pass and playing NBA 2K at the same time on huge screens

Sorry guys. I hate to inform you that the iPhone Duo didn’t survive the garbage disposal test. RIP iPhone Duo. Terrible durability from Apple.
