π’ Iβm a bit embarrassed to admit thisβ¦ but I need to talk about it.
I lost money in the Beyond / BLIFE ecosystem and Iβm no longer sure if I can trust the team anymore.
I actually waited until now to post this β I didnβt want to say anything earlier that could hurt the Beyond mint that just ended. At the end of the day, Iβm a real supporter and a passionate Bitcoin & Ordinals maxi.
Hereβs what happened:
Beyond was acquired by BLIFE Protocol (formerly known as OPAL).
The same team behind the game Life Beyond (from Darewise Entertainment, backed by Animoca Brands @animocabrands) was running everything. The token started as $OPAL / $BLIF, then became $BLIFE.
Many players and farmers like me invested time and money farming that tokenβ¦
Personally, I put in:
β’ Around $300 into the B.O.T.S mini-game (upgrading robot NFTs to Legendary level) on Life Beyond
β’ A Founder Watch NFT to boost Opal/Blife rewards
β’ Several Blifstone Ordinals NFTs
Not to mention countless hours farming on Galxe, playing Life Beyond, and using the BLIFE portal.
I know Iβm not alone β some people lost a lot more.
Today Iβm left with one simple question:
Can I still trust Beyond / BLIFE / Portal?
Benjamin Charbit (@Ben_Charbit) and the team behind @BLIFEProtocol, @LifeBeyond and @beyond__tech are still active after the merger with Portal.
After all these rebrands and the fusion, have the early supporters really been rewarded?
Drop your honest experience in the comments (no drama, just facts).
Did you farm OPAL/BLIFE too? Whatβs your take?
Iβm tagging the official accounts so they can reply directly if they want.

I had a cool idea and now I am back pushing pixels.
Sneps and I agreed that we need a few more Comrades of the Hood than we had planned so far.
I don't know exactly how many more, but I know we are definitely staying way below 2K.
We are not chasing hype, we are chasing quality.
It won't take long. Stay tuned π«‘
Yo Fam!!! @ViolaMissCode and @TheArtistBTC has done a great artistic job with this collection!!! Go Buy!!! Our culture, our mood, our life, our feeling, our knowledge, our desaster, our hope, ...

the first comments are rolling in. π§
anonymous trolls doing what anonymous trolls do.
someone asked me βwhatβs the point of the trollbox?β
iβll hit back with a question, whatβs the point of shielded ordinals?
iβve tried to give it a use case other than shielded trading, im sure more will come but this is my contribution
if you thought you were buying a just a shielded jpeg, sorry to disappoint you. you bought a ticket to anonymous 4chan on bitcoin.
get your comments in. everything goes on chain, baked in forever.

itβs currently at 47% at this rate it will likely be the next collection to be mintable on @OrdDropz as the next shielded ordinals collection
personally, iβm hyped for jimmy and really appreciate the founder @0xmeaustin whoβs here to build something sustainable in ordinals

If this gets 1,000 reposts maybe @opensea will add support for Ordinals and Runes?
