Good to see.
Does this mean that Melland's Field, @ryebankfields, @SaveHoughEnd and all the other green spaces in
Greater Manchester are now safe?

Terrible to see this pollution - but if there are any 3G sports pitches near this river, the tyres will still find their way into the water course from microplastic run off | Ogmore: 2,000 tyres, 100 trolleys and fridge fished out of river - BBC - 🧵 bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-6665…

The proposals include double car parking space for each property. Surely this would increase air pollution?
Manchester Council wants to approve housing on Mellands Fields, one of the few green sites in the area.
Air pollution is in the 99th percentile for the UK.
There are four schools nearby.

4) by digging up and fencing off @SaveHoughEnd fields, not only are you hiring the environment, you are trying to charge children from the poorest parts of Manchester to play football and taking money from school's budgets with your pitches. #CostOfLivingCrisis

If you didn't vote Labour in Manchester today, you have stood up and fought for a healthier democracy for our city.
Thank you for voting for the opposition Manchester desperately needs.

Why don't councils, clubs, schools, sports/leisure centres find out what happens to their artificial pitch when they're worn out and replace with more of the same?
Why aren't the manufacturers and installers informing those concerned about the end waste?

New green spaces? Why not save the old ones. From New Islington green to @SaveHoughEnd , this labour council has committed to digging up our beloved green spaces, and have, time and again ignored the all too obvious climate crisis.
