At Scenius Hub, we’re concerned about low youth participation in technical trades in South Sudan. As Juba grows, demand for skills in areas like cooling & refrigeration is rising; this is a clear opportunity.
Partnering with Kiwamaya Holdings, we subsidized their Professional AC & Maintenance Training to make it more accessible. The hands-on program covers installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and refrigerant handling.
20 trainees; including one of our staff, are learning 3x/week. In 3 months, they’ll have job-ready skills.
Private-sector-led training like this boosts youth participation in trades and tackles unemployment in South Sudan.
