That’s why for the last 100 yrs our population has been stagnant, life expectancy still the worst, Brexit, more food banks, worst deficit, share of £3tr debt, highest energy costs, sectarianism, poverty, addiction and hopelessness, but yes let’s thank WM for tackling these issues
If you were sensible you’d realise that we’ve been well looked after by the Union 🇬🇧

25 years of oil in Rosebank. Remember the lies about being poor and oil running out. Time for Indy before an English coloniser steels our future wealth. Imagine our country free from WM with oil revenue. bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cxnv0e…

Front page headlines in today’s so called Scottish Daily Express are ‘Now Go Full Blast on North Sea Oil Drilling.’ This is coming from the same yoon lying bastards who in 2014 told us that Scotlands oil was running out and voting No was the only way of remaining in the EU!

For those who voted NO in 2014 because you believed oil was running out, listen to this. Do you feel you were lied to? This is why England won’t allow Scottish independence and you bought the lies with your vote. It’s on your head, fucking morons.

Whenever quislings and colonsisers try to gaslight you about the lies Westminster told them in 2014, remember this:
Oil will be running out just as our population gets older. Being in UK means sharing the risks #indyref

Talking about oil and gas …. Imagine Brussels had taken all “uk” gas and oil output and then built a million skyscrapers in Brussels, paved the roads with gold and then had to fucking “subsidise you uk cunts”. That would be one fucking good argument for Brexit! 🤷🏼

@ruth_wishart is getting under the skin of unionists She is such a failure that this erse @ruth_talks_pish took time to set up this parody account then claims it’s nothing to do with her Then blocks me from communicating with them & their 4 followers - I wonder who the failure is

The best way to anticipate future behaviour is to look at past behaviour. I don’t believe a word this weasel says.
Two Governments. One goal. Regional economic empowerment & good growth in every corner of Scotland. Let’s make it happen.

Remember they promised mass employment when they announced GB Energy 👇👇
Almost 5,000 jobs in the nuclear industry could have been created in Scotland if we had matched England’s growth in civil nuclear power. That opportunity is still there - but only if the SNP changes course.

One person, one saying, one quote can stop a nation voting on its wishes. Who knew. I’d have thought the ballot box was the only way to decide on Scotland’s future - unless you are a unionist fanny of course.
No one ever claimed it was printed on the actual ballot paper. It was literally printed in the preface of the SNP’s own official 2014 "Scotland's Future" White Paper, and repeatedly stated by both Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon on national television. Posting a "BREAKING NEWS" GIF to proudly announce that you didn't realise your own movement's core campaign promises were documented in their flagship manifesto, rather than squeezed onto a tiny voting slip, is a spectacular self-own.

Yep, these unionist arseholes want to keep us dependent then moan about subsidising us. Slag us off for being too poor to be independent but won’t allow a referendum 🤦 Time to grow a spine Scotland, get some dignity and take control of ourselves

But for the broad shoulders of the Union, Scotland would be as poor as Norway.

He’ll just write an SNPBad story with or without an interview.
Màiri McAllan has been education secretary for more than 100 days, and I've been asking for an interview that entire time. As of today, she still hasn't agreed to sit down and talk to me. Is she still not ready after 3 months?! @heraldscotland heraldscotland.com/opinion/2…

Exclusive: Grangemouth misses out on £200m sustainable aviation fuel fund - despite Project Willow recommending the industry for the site of the former oil refinery. Just £3m went to Scottish projects, with £160m going to English ones. scotsman.com/news/politics/g…

Aye because the Chinese building wind turbines in Scotland carries much higher risk than building nuclear power stations in England.
1) Scottish Daily Express· John Swinney has been branded "irresponsible" after putting nationalism ahead of national security. The FM has used the recent change in British PM to again call for a Chinese firm to be allowed to build a wind turbine factory in the Highlands.

Scotland will use the pound and have a currency union with rUK. Why wouldn’t our friends, neighbours and allies that we fought wars alongside not want an independent Scotland to be successful. After all they love us so why wouldn’t they want to help us succeed in every way.
GERS is not a picture of the future frozen in time, so why depict it as such? Because, as you know, it’s a guide to where Scotland would stand economically on separation from rest of the UK. The future would depend on policies an Indy Scot would then follow. So tell us: How would you deal with a budget deficit 11% GDP (largest in Europe)? What taxes would rise and what public spending would be cut? It would take time to deal with a deficit of this size. So what currency would you borrow in during the transition? What estimates are you making of the cost of borrowing for a small country with a massive deficit but no track record of borrowing on the bond markets? Whatever currency you start borrowing in, would it be your intention to change to another currency in a few years (eg from sterling to a Scottish currency)? The bond markets will insist on knowing that to assess future exchange rate exposure. You and your party have been considering such matters for many years so I’m sure you’ll have at least some answers by now.

Well now that the hornets nest has been kicked let’s clarify. An iScotland will definitely need its own currency to be truly independent. My point was more about the spiteful attitude to be expected from England during negotiations. They say “don’t leave, we love you”……..

…….we are friends and neighbours, but that only applies while they can exploit Scotland. Just read the replies to see the many examples of spiteful attitude you’d expect from an abusive partner not a friend, neighbour and ally. Look at their attitude to Ireland as a warning.

Why does this single country have different legal, health, education and religious systems. Why does this single country have different sports teams, leagues, charities and associations. Why doesn’t this single country have a Bank of UK and devolution for England.
I keep trying to explain this to people - "the Union" was the act of uniting England and Scotland into a single country. After that, it was literally just a unitary sovereign state as Great Britain. Nothing like the European Union or even like Canadian confederation.
