QT ending does not mean rampant QE is starting.
It took us over 200+ days for that to begin last time.
What everyone needs to be looking for is when and HOW FAST QE begins AFTER QT ends.
Here is how it played out last cycle:
1)July 31, 2019 Announcement of End FOMC statement: QT to stop in September; balance sheet stabilized at ~$3.8T.
2)September 2019 Runoff Effectively Halts Final redemptions processed; no further shrinkage.
3)October 2019 Balance Sheet Growth Resumes Fed starts buying T-bills (~$60B/month) to ease repo market pressures.
4)QE programs begin March 23rd, 2020. BTC feel over 60% from QT ending to QE beginning during this period.
5)March 23rd, 2020 to April- we saw over a 1000% gain in BTC.
