#Rays reliever Cam Booser was out of baseball in 2017. He became addicted to alcohol which led to depression.
However, he is now six years sober and playing an important role for #TampaBay in the #WorldSeries.

Bucs are signing veteran QB Brett Rypien to their practice squad, giving them a third healthy quarterback while Baker Mayfield is sidelined. He played for Rams in 2023 when Zac Robinson was the QBs coach there, so has some familiarity with the offense.

Bucs receiver Jalen McMillan will miss significant time for a second year in a row. His knee injury is a PCL sprain, out six weeks or more, headed to injured reserve while he recovers. @JennaLaineESPN had it first.

I think #Bucs QB Baker Mayfield might have hurt his thumb before the play he threw the interception.
After this scramble in the 3rd quarter, you could see Mayfield grabbing his thumb.
Looks like he was playing through something and could explain why some of his throws were off.

Baker Mayfield’s MRI on his thumb today revealed no fracture and no ligament nor tendon damage, per source.
