Went to see the puffins at Bempton Cliffs - they were elusive, but that just made it all the more thrilling when you spotted one. The camaraderie between the people watching, excitedly helping each other find them made me proud to be human ❤️🐦⬛@rspb @Bempton_Cliffs

Gannets were giving fantastic views at RSPB Bempton Cliffs today.
They were collecting mud, grass and other vegetation from several places right by the path and just below Bartlett viewpoint.

I had a ride up to @Bempton_Cliffs this afternoon to try for one of the pallid swifts.
In the narrowest window of opportunity (less than 10 minutes) I managed these just as the sun came out then it vanished.
Got back to the car just in time to avoid a biblical downpour.
