Just a reminder to always lock your doors when you are home. I work from home and I am normally here alone until the evening when my son and husband return. Today, I heard someone try to open my front door. I got on the doorbell camera to see a man standing at my door with paper work in his hand so I used the intercom to ask what he needed. He proceeded to tell me his guy was working in my house and I needed to let him in. No sir. No one was working in my house.

THE MATRIX TRILOGY — CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN IT TO ME LIKE I'M 5 YEARS OLD?
I've seen the films before, but it's been a long time.
I've rewatched the first two films and will be watching the third one soon, followed by the new film in the cinema.
But I'm very confused! I've been concentrating on the story and have even read a couple of articles and watched a YouTube video trying to explain it, but I'm still struggling to understand it.
Here are the main things confusing me:
1. Neo's life at the beginning: Neo seems to be living a normal life, working in an office, etc. Is this life real? What exactly is happening?
2. Why do humans plug themselves into the Matrix? I understand that the Machines took over the Earth and essentially destroyed it, but why do they put humans inside the Matrix? What's the purpose of it? Why do people inside the Matrix fight the Agents? Who exactly are these Agents?
3. Who created the Matrix? Was it the Architect or the Machines? And why was it created in the first place?
4. The Agents and the Machines: Is there a connection between them? If so, what is it?
5. Zion and the real world: Is Zion located on Earth? Is the world outside the Matrix what Earth looks like now?

My coworkers used to joke that I was the only person in the office who could do everyone else's job but still couldn't get promoted.
Then our biggest client demanded that I be the one to save their contract.
I had worked at a marketing agency for three years.
I handled difficult clients, fixed campaign mistakes, and stayed late whenever the team fell behind.
But every time a team leader position opened, my boss, Marcus, chose someone else.
One afternoon, I finally confronted him.
Me: "I've been here longer than half the managers. What am I doing wrong?"
Marcus: "You're good at following instructions. But leadership requires more than that."
Me: "I've been doing half your team's work."
Marcus: "And that's exactly why you're valuable where you are."
I knew what that meant.
They needed me too much in my current position to let me move up.
So I stopped asking for permission to prove myself.

Baby 8ball update! (not a bad purchase)
Update on my baby 8ball!
I wanted to give her a god week to settle to get a good idea of how she's doing before coming back with an update.
So far good news all around though! As I mentioned in my previous post I was worried this little lady had mobility issues that were not disclosed to me by the breeder, and she would end up being a special needs snake. Thankfully that is so far not the case!
I did go back to the expo and voiced my concerns to the breeder but he had no offers to make the situation right. Just stated that he had no policy on returns due to quarantine needs and the best he offered was to put me in contact with someone else that had been interested in the baby. He reasurred me that if she was not ready for a home for a home he would not have brought her and that she was the best eater of the entire clutch, even over those without deformities. He also mentioned that with all of the babies he has he is unable to handle them all for extended periods of time but with the handeling he has done she showed no signs of sever issues and has been deemed a healthy baby. He along with other vendors also mentioned that kept in small rack systems (which she was) can essential be shell shocked when they are placed in a larger enclosure with bright lighting as apposed to their dark cramped box, and genuinely don't know what to do with the space and drastic change. I had never heard of or experienced this but it did seem to be the case as by the next day she was testing out her hides and doing a little exploring which was a HUGE relief!!! She is definitely mobile and able to access her hides, water, move from hot side to cool side as needed, and also did a periscope! 🥹❤️ I admit I freaked out pretty quickly when I first noticed her odd still behavior. I work at a chain pet store where I see a lot of issues with animals due to improper breeding and care practices so any red flags immediately have me assuming the worst because I have seen it so many times. Today was the biggest relief though because I attempted her first feeding and she ate!!!! She didn’t give much hesitation either and was able to get her meal down fairly well. She had to contort a bit awkwardly but acted like it was nothing afterwards! The best part too. She took f/t on the first try after being fed only live beforehand hand!!!! 😭❤️😭❤️ I'm so proud of her and sw has definitely proven me wrong in all my worries and concerns. The hope though is that she continues this way and lives a nice long life! ❤️
At this moment I’m choosing not to name the breeder as he is local which makes me uncomfortable should he be on here and we cross paths again. For my area he’s still better than most, and I don’t feel justified in it or comfortable as I also failed to ask more important questions and educate myself farther on this morph and it’s deformities. I did include some photos of the egg cutting video though for those of you that were curios. I’m glad in the end that I did keep her and so excited to watch her grow and progress. I decided to name her Nelly ❤️

My neighbor made $160 selling lemons from my backyard, and now she thinks I’m unreasonable for asking about the money.
I have a lemon tree that produces more fruit than I can use. A few weeks ago, my neighbor asked if she could pick some for homemade lemonade. I told her to take whatever she needed.
Yesterday, I discovered she’d been selling bags of my lemons on Facebook Marketplace. When I confronted her, she admitted she’d made $160.
She said, “You told me I could take as many as I wanted. I didn’t know there were conditions.”
