ai has a place
Screenwriters will ignore almost anything that doesn’t directly get them closer to the room.
Draft chaos, IP anxiety, “which version did they actually read?”
…those only matter after the meeting and one is left lingering in limbo.

It seems like the AI bubbles are going to start popping soon.
Hopefully it will get the world back to a somewhat normal
For all seasoned writers, guides are a must to be followed
“You must apply your editorial judgment and sourcing standards when considering and editing any information for publication.”
We have new artificial intelligence guidelines on Stylebook Online, informed by the AP's own policies on what we do and don't do with AI.
One tip: Any output from an AI tool should be treated as unvetted source material. You must apply your editorial judgment and sourcing standards when considering and editing any information for publication.

Prada called upon John Pomeroy, Disney and Don Bluth's legendary animator, for its Christmas ad
Hand drawn and hand crafted animation is something to hold onto
Replying to @Lulamaybelle
Here’s a deeper behind-the-scenes look into the making of “Drawing Prada.” It’s really cool how Pomeroy brought his team together & how they factored in the live-action compositing. youtu.be/X3IGnVd0hss?is=aHZa…

Here's what the gatekeepers won't say out loud:
A kid with no art school, no studio, and no budget can now make something beautiful.
That isn't the death of art.
That's the death of the monopoly.

We need to protect the @internetarchive and the @waybackmachine
This is vitally important
The Wayback Machine risks becoming collateral damage in the fight against AI, writes Internet Archive founder Brewster Kahle in The Atlantic.
Blocking the Internet Archive won’t stop AI companies from scraping the web. But it can undermine a vital resource for journalists, researchers, and anyone seeking information that has disappeared or changed.

The point is not that © is weak. It is that © identifies one legal system. It should not be asked to stand in for every right a creator or business owns.
A designer may give a client a broad commercial licence to use artwork while retaining copyright, or may execute an assignment transferring specified copyright.
The invoice alone does not tell you which happened.
Most copyright myths begin with a proposition that is partly true and then remove the conditions around it
Ohh, and then there is this
Just a bit of reality check for the anti-ai fanatics screaming about the sanctity of art in the context of jobs.
Art and jobs were never a package deal until Hollywood came along and built a system to exploit "art" (and artists) for the sake of manipulating the masses.
Creating great art, was never supposed to require massive resources and labor forces.
It's literally a native act of the poor to find meaning and enjoyment in the suffering of existence.
