That’s a really, really big win after a really, really weird day for the M’s.
For the time being, keeps them in first place by a game over the A’s while they wait to (hopefully) get healthier soon.
🚨NEW VIDEO🚨
The Mariners are hurt. They’re tired. BUT they’re still in first place!!
• The road trip was ugly
• The injury list got ridiculous
• The AL West is begging someone to take control
• Seattle now gets a real chance at home
This week matters.

Mariners improve to 35-32 with the 6-3 win in Baltimore. Game 1 of a 4 game set.
Back to 2 games in front of the Rangers.
Going to Munoz here is absolutely the right call by Dan.
If he melts down again here, Munoz should absolutely be given a break from closing.
But based on what we saw from the other guys tonight, who would take over?
Ferrer?

And Cole Young extends his hit streak to 11 games with a two-out, broken-bat single here in the 4th inning.
He’s 14-for-42 (.333) during this stretch, and is now their leadoff man while J.P. Crawford is sidelined. – at Baltimore, MD
File this one under “be careful what you wish for.”
Matt Brash, closer? Yikes. He’s Charlie Sheen wild to start this appearance.

Canzone had a bad cup of coffee in April of 2025, sent to Tacoma. Recalled in June and became one of the Mariners best bats.

Colt Emerson has 15 hits in his first 60 AB in the show.
10 of his 15 hits have been for extra bases.
He’s nearly 2 full years younger than the AA average, but you have to wonder if it’s about time to test him in AAA.
He’s becoming more tradable with every appearance. Good for him. Good for the team (either way).
Luis Castillo has a 2.12 ERA over his last 4 outings, beginning with his relief appearance on May 19.
Yes, the @Mariners rotation depth is the envy of @MLB.
