Great to listen to @RebeccaEMenzies on @nickluck on Sunday, someone who talks a lot of sense and is incredibly ambitious, but most importantly is passionate about the north and understands the importance of the grassroots of the sport.

It was fantastic to be able to present cheques for £1,512.00 to @Racingwelfare & @IJF_official!
The funds were raised at our Cheltenham Preview Night back in March.

Thanks to @wikiwikiwheels for this fantastic article ahead of our big day @HexhamRaces on Saturday! 🏆
“Some of those with runners on Saturday will only have one or two horses and it gives them the chance to run in a historic race, it's a big thing for them”
Good to see the @RacingPost covering Saturday’s Heart of All England…

It was a pleasure to host Maurice & Anne Barnes yesterday to celebrate their retirement.
It’s certainly the end of an era, we wish them all the best for the future!

Following the abandonment of our fixture on Thursday 12th March and subsequent discussions with the BHA, we are grateful to be given the opportunity to stage The BK Racing Hexham Marathon 4m Handicap Chase at our next meeting on Wednesday 25th March.
Entries for this meeting open at 8am on Thursday, the current going is Good to Soft, Soft (in places).

My understanding is BHA are meeting tomorrow about this:
✅ several trainers have emailed the BHA about this being saved
✅ @HexhamRaces wants to reschedule
✅ @bkracing123 is happy to sponsor
✅@MikeEckley4 has said he will move his sponsorship to another race to avoid a clash
There is no reason on a card that only has 5 and a bumper currently, that this can not be saved @TByrneBHA we
As a result of @HexhamRaces abandonment, no 4m chase today. The next meeting is 5 and a bumper. The 4m chase around Hexham is unique, invigorating and should be rescheduled for then. The only other 4m chase was abandoned in November.
I have spoken to today’s sponsor @bkracing123 and he is happy to sponsor this race. There is precedence with Bangor rescheduling its North Wales National only last month.
Make it happen @TByrneBHA . Sure trainers from today would support @lucindavrussell @petescu @CWilliamsRacing @NGRichardsRace @MHammondRacing @ColtherdRacing @garyjrutherford @LambdenRacing .
