It's a beautiful day in the political neighborhood — all nine of them.
From the Liberal Arts Left to Cul-de-Sac Conservatives, Lawn Sign Liberals to the Center Square.
What kind of neighbor are you? Take the quiz!

Young men are abandoning the Republican Party.
They’re looking for a sense of security in their futures, and Democrats should focus on delivering that.

There’s a right way and a wrong way to fix our broken immigration system. The only way to move forward is by learning from our past mistakes - not repeat them.

If Democrats want to regain the public’s trust on immigration, they’ll need to ignore failed ideas pushed by groups like the ACLU.
Their asylum plan is nothing more than a path back to chaos. Yeah, no thanks. 👎

I'm told we have a midterm election before people start announcing for president, but this is one of the fights I'm most interested in.
Biden, in 2019, said the US could quickly "absorb" 2 million asylum seekers. What 2028 Dem would run on that now? cnn.com/2024/03/07/politics/…

Republicans are underwater on immigration.
Why would Democrats give them an opening to breathe by returning to the same failed border policy of the Biden era?
The ACLU is calling for Democrats to screw up on immigration again.
Their asylum plan wrongly says enforcement doesn't work, policy doesn't matter, and that Democrats should lower standards for screening.
Two words: Hell. No.
Here are the three facts the ACLU simply gets wrong.

Just as Democrats are coming out of the doghouse on immigration, right on cue the same groups that drove the party into the ditch on the issue—and set the stage for Trump’s return—are doubling down on an approach we know doesn’t work.
We’re not doing this again, folks.

A big question facing Democrats is whether we will repeat the mistakes of the past.
Trump has alienated millions of Americans on immigration, but they’re far from sold on us.
If Dems follow the @ACLU on immigration we will chase these voters right back to MAGA.

First in @playbookdc this AM:
Whether they like it or not, enforcement at the border does, in fact, work.
And federal policies are the biggest factor driving immigration: "Releasing individuals at the border who will not ultimately be granted protection incentivizes more people to come illegally."
The country needs a more pragmatic and heterodox approach if we are actually going to save asylum.
Democrats should ignore the ACLU's plan if they are actually focused on achieving that goal.

🚨 NEW MEMO: The ACLU's asylum plan is a total disaster.
They demand Democrats repeat the same mistakes which created chaos at the border AND cost the public's trust.
Here's what they got flat-out wrong.
HARD PASS.
Democrats aren't going to listen the ACLU's failed arguments or repeat the same immigration mistakes of the past.

News in @PunchbowlNews PM: Democratic aides from the EPW and ENR committees held a briefing today for around 30 staffers from across the Senate Democratic caucus on the bipartisan permitting reform bill. @SearchlightInst hosted as well. Dems full speed ahead selling this thing
