Scores of trucks carrying new tents and caravans (mobile homes) have been waiting at Gaza's border for more than a year, but Israel has blocked them from entering despite a US-brokered and monitored ceasefire.
Israelโs deliberate and systematic cruelty to deprive displaced Palestinians of shelter and compound their suffering is part of an effort to drive Palestinians out of Gaza, and is continuing with full U.S. support.

This is the worst morning ever. No one in Gaza City slept last night. The rain completely flooded the tents, soaking mattresses and destroying families' belongings. We are underwater.

Outsourced catering workers who supply food on publicly owned LNER trains are being denied the real Living Wage by their employer, Swiss multinational Gate Group.
A foreign-owned company should not be profiting from a publicly owned rail service while denying workers the real Living Wage.
Thatโs why Iโve signed a motion calling on LNER to bring its contractor into line, ensure a pay offer is made that resolves the dispute, and calling on the Government to direct LNER to engage with the @RMTunion on bringing this contract back in-house.
