Participants believe it’s the next innovation coming to help given recent art flops… Hmmm digital identities evolving Funny how that works out… To me, it’s always been better to be the underdog. Everyone that’s getting grilled under a microscope this past week or two has to defend their shortcomings. Let me tell you why that’s wrong: - Attention economy (new traits, new partnerships, new collections) - Creator economy (identity, blank canvas, resonate w/ pieces you forge) - Emotional utility (over time things change, people evolve, art evolves) - Collection survival (another layer to trading beyond NFT sales, another way to drive revenue, another way to drive partnerships, another way to have holders appreciate their PFPs, another way for collections to refresh and bring new cultures or themes in) Attention fades. Hype fades. Royalties fade. Liquidity fades. What doesn’t? New identities. New art. New PFPs. New collections. Just because you don’t see the problems being solved, doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
