Day 4 of Early Voting! 📷📷 It's been great seeing so many Texans getting out and making their voices heard! I have loved meeting and talking with voters throughout Senate District 2 that last 4 days. The momentum is building, but we're not slowing down. Our communities, our families, and the future of Texas are worth showing up for. My heart is heavy for the families of the fallen officers and all those affected by the tragic events in Van Zandt County last night. We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the deputy who lost his life in the line of duty, and we are praying for the Canton Police officer who was injured and is receiving medical care. May God bring comfort to the grieving families, healing to the injured officer, and strength to every law enforcement officer serving our communities. Today, Wednesday, October 21, at noon, community members will gather on the front steps of the Van Zandt County Courthouse to pray for the families of our fallen and injured officers. I encourage everyone who is able to join in prayer and support for these families and the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us. Our law enforcement officers face danger every day to uphold the law and protect the public. We owe them our gratitude, our prayers, and our unwavering support. May God watch over our officers, comfort those who mourn, and bring peace and healing to Van Zandt County.

Vote red down the ballot because the Republican that you don't know, or even the Republican you don't like, is going to be better than the Democrat that you don't want. #senatorBobHall #TexasSenate #TexasGOP #RepublicanParty #Election2026

📷📷DATA CENTER COMMITTEE HEARING📷📷 TUNE IN NOW The Senate Committee on Water, Agriculture, and Rural Affairs is currently taking up its interim study charge on data centers. They have invited expert testimony and will also hear public testimony today regarding: “Assessing the Water Demands of Energy-Intensive Technologies: Examine the current water consumption rates for high-consumption cooling technologies, including data centers. Make recommendations to improve transparency for local water providers and ensure industrial growth does not compromise the affordability of water for Texas residents and agricultural producers.” There are good actors when it comes to the development of both large, including hyperscale, and small data centers, and we thank you for working to be good neighbors. And then there are bad actors: You are on notice. Stay tuned for the development of state policy and guardrails that will protect and support our local communities. Leadership means knowing when to hit pause. Texas paused Data Center expansion to take a closer look. While technology of data centers is absolutely necessary for national security, their deployment will only be done in one of two ways: responsibly or irresponsibly. This pause will give us time to ensure that their deployment will be done responsibly. The proposed 765-kV transmission network proposals deserve the same careful review – but – the very expensive, “old technology,” high-voltage transmission lines may not be the right solution for new power generation. Much of today's demand for massive new transmission stems from the retirement of dispatchable coal and natural gas generation. Before Texas commits billions of dollars to new transmission corridors, we should determine whether modern, efficient dispatchable generation at, or near, existing retired plant sites could meet some of that growing demand while curbing the need for new transmission. Texans deserve transparency, better data, and a full evaluation of alternatives before irreversible decisions are made. This is absurd. I fully support every someones right to practice their faith. But federally funded facilities should remain neutral and avoid providing permanent amenities dedicated to the practices of any one religion. Government should protect religious liberty without appearing to endorse or accommodate a particular faith.
The Dallas airport is now installing dedicated Islamic “Wudu” foot-washing stations inside bathrooms.

Texas got it right when we banned red light cameras in 2019. capitol.texas.gov/BillLookup… I led that fight because automated surveillance and enforcement had no place in a free society. Now it's time to do the same with Flock cameras. Flock cameras collect and store information on millions of law-abiding Texans just going about their normal everyday lives. Texans should not have their movements tracked, stored, and searched without a specific, objective reason to suspect criminal activity. I will be prioritizing this in the coming 2027 session. Stay tuned.

Senator Bob Hall retweeted
The last time @chiproytx worked in the Texas Attorney General’s office, he was escorted out of the building. AG @KenPaxtonTX gave him a choice: be fired or resign. The reason was his continued insubordination to AG Paxton. Ken Paxton was recently overheard in an audio clip saying, “I’m going to vote for @mayes_middleton” and that he “could not imagine [Chip Roy] stepping into that role.” I’m casting my vote for Mayes Middleton, too.

No Sharia Law in Texas Curriculum Thursday, I sent a letter to the State Board of Education expressing strong opposition to any proposed curriculum changes that promote or include Sharia law beyond objective historical context in Texas classrooms. Our schools must remain focused on factual, balanced instruction rooted in the foundational values that shaped our nation. Any curriculum or instructional materials that could be seen as endorsing or promoting ideologies in conflict with Texas and American founding principles have no place in our public education system. Texas students deserve an education grounded in truth, transparency, and traditional American values. Read my full letter here 👇

Historically, gambling in Texas has been prohibited. County law enforcement officials are willfully protecting illegal gambling joints in their jurisdictions by knowingly misinterpreting court cases, state statutes, and the Constitution, all of which clearly make gambling illegal. This must stop. Gambling devices are illegal, period, and will remain so unless the people see fit to change the Texas Constitution. Until that happens, illegal gambling will persist in counties where district attorneys willfully fail to do their jobs and enforce the law. Read more....👇 mailchi.mp/senatorbobhall/th…

We Must Act Now: Secure Texas Against Sharia Law Now is the time for Governor Abbott to call a special legislative session to ensure one simple principle: Texas law and the U.S. Constitution must always come first in our courts. My letter to the Governor is clear, this matter simply cannot wait until the next regular session in 2027. Religious freedom is fundamental, and every Texan has the right to practice their faith. But no foreign religious or legal system should ever override the constitutional protections guaranteed to people in Texas. We must have clear statutory language that prohibits the enforcement or recognition of Sharia law, or any foreign religious legal system in Texas courts, arbitration, or civil governance that does not protect the inherent rights granted under the U.S. and Texas Constitutions. With the overwhelming passage of Proposition 10 on the Republican midterm ballot, Texans made it clear they want to reject the influence of Sharia law in our legal system. Our leaders should act on that message now. We must do what we can NOW to close any gaps in state law and make it abundantly clear that Texas courts will only recognize and enforce laws consistent with our Constitution. I stand ready to assist in drafting legislation, supporting interim or emergency studies, and working to ensure that any action taken is constitutionally sound, precise, and effective. You can read the full letter to the Governor below and my Capitol Hall Report, “Protecting Texans from Sharia Law: One Constitution, One Standard,” senatorbobhall.com/protectin…

Grateful for this step. Dr. Bowden demonstrated courage and conviction at a time when few were willing to speak out. She stood by her medical judgment and her patients, even knowing it could come at significant personal and professional risk. Sadly, that courage has carried a heavy cost. Since late 2021, the Texas Medical Board has aggressively pursued disciplinary action against Dr. Bowden for her advocacy of Ivermectin and her opposition to mask and vaccine mandates. For nearly four years, she has faced serious allegations of professional misconduct that have largely proven baseless. Nevertheless, the prolonged process has imposed more than $100,000 in legal expenses, along with ongoing reputational and professional strain. I applaud Attorney General Paxton seeing what this really was and ensuring her medical freedoms are protected.
BREAKING: I am intervening in the case against the Texas Medical Board in support of Dr. Mary Talley Bowden to ensure her lawful medical freedoms are protected.

Honored to receive the endorsement of the Texas State Rifle Association PAC. For decades, TSRA has been the leading voice defending the Second Amendment and protecting Texans’ God-given right to keep and bear arms. I am proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them in the fight to preserve our freedoms, protect law-abiding gun owners, and stop radical efforts to undermine our Constitution. I will always defend the Second Amendment — not just in words, but in action. Thank you, TSRA, for your trust and support. 🇺🇸💪 #2a #PromisesMadePromisesKept #DefendFreedom #pro2a

Honored to be recognized by the Texas Eagle Forum as the only A+ conservative in the Texas Senate on their latest scorecard. I don’t work for special interests — I work for Texas values: faith, family, freedom, and the Constitution. Thank you to the Texas Eagle Forum for holding elected officials accountable. Promises made, promises kept.

We are now less than 24 hours from the critical year-end fundraising deadline. I don’t enjoy asking for financial support — but Austin insiders and outside groups are gearing up to spend big to take out strong conservative voices. Because of my commitment to Texans, a super PAC has already announced a $1 million media hold AGAINST me for this cycle. They are prepared to spend whatever it takes to silence principled conservative leadership in the Texas Senate. They are about to spend a fortune to replace me with someone who will go along to get along. I refuse to let that happen — but I can’t hold the line alone. If you value the transparency, accountability, and conservative wins we’ve delivered, I’m asking you to chip in before the midnight deadline tonight. Every contribution — whether $25, $50, $100, or more — goes directly toward defending liberty in Texas. Donate here: senatorbobhall.com/
