People like to complain that the dating process today is incredibly broken.
Everyone likes to go straight to blaming the apps, but that is just one part of the equation. This graph shows it is a major part of the equation.
So the question then becomes why do the apps dominate the dating process?
Simple leverage.
For those familiar with the pareto distribution I think this graph is a clear demonstration of the principle at work.
When it comes to finding the right partner the apps are the highest leverage opportunity.
Your friends probably don't have 1000s friends you could potentially date. Same goes for your work, neighbors, and all other forms of meeting people. The apps on the other hand do.
This leverage is great, but this leverage inherently creates the biggest problem with the apps.
The paradox of choice.
There are too many options so people keep swiping in hopes that they are going to find someone even better to date.
If this is news to you, you are either
1. A women
2. A man who has never been in a relationship.

The average man does not really spend money when single. Entering a serious relationship usually 2-5Xs his baseline spending
Even if the girl were to pay for 1/2 that increase (not likely, lol), the guy still has much less money than before
Guys clearly are not doing this for the money
School has done such a shit job teaching people how to read studies and graphs.
Researchers studied 37,643 children and found that every additional month of full breastfeeding was associated with fewer ADHD symptoms at ages 3, 5, and 8. Even after accounting for ADHD genetic risk in the mother, father, and child, the association remained. They even compared siblings and found similar results.
Why do women find it more acceptable to cheat after they get a post-grad education?
According to recent polling, both sexes think it’s worse for a husband than a wife to have an affair – the opposite of the traditional double standard. stevestewartwilliams.com/p/d…
Even nepotism can’t get you far with the tyrannical retards running HR.
Our team had several reqs out for months and I recommended two people for the role. They applied which was essentially throwing their resume into the Byzantine corporate HR shredder. I asked the hiring manager is he saw their applications come in and he said no. Somewhere someone who has no concept of the role made a call that these people would be poor applicants and the interviews never took place.
If you ever wonder why society has seemingly gotten worse it’s because people like this have jobs that determine who gets hired. God forbid you hire somebody who cares about punctuality.

20 year HR professional here. Many times I’d make candidates wait a few extra minutes to see how they handled it when they got frustrated. Weeded out a lot of hot heads. Me, I’m looking for patience and understanding.
How long it took me to find each SWE job:
2014: 1 job applied, 0 interviews, 1 day (nepotism)
2015: 1 job applied, 2 interviews, 1 week
2016: 1 job applied, 4 interviews, 1 week
2016: 1 job applied, 0 interviews, 1 day (friend is a CEO)
2018: 1 job applied, 2 interviews, 1 week
2019: 1 job applied, 5 interviews, 1 week
2021: 1 job applied, 0 interviews, 1 day (invited)
2022: 7 jobs applied, 16 interviews, 3 months
2026: 167 jobs applied, 54 interviews, 1 year 4 months

politics has rotted your brain when you can't even admit a car jumping over another car is pretty fucking cool
This should come as a surprise to nobody.
I heard public executions are being live streamed. Would definitely tune in to see the thief in question hung.
RJ Mitte reveals how he was financially exploited at just 17 while trying to protect his Breaking Bad earnings.
“I’ve paid more in taxes than I got from Breaking Bad. As a young kid, I had a big team, traveled the world, and spent money keeping my career going. Everything went back into the business.”
A bad business manager made things worse.
“During the last four years of my highest-earning series, I wanted to protect my money. I was 17 or 18, and everyone was telling me to get a proper accountant.”
Instead, he got scammed.
“Dude, I got eaten alive.”
He says the woman targeted 14 other actors, including people with disabilities and older performers.
“I’d write a check to pay my taxes, and instead of paying them, she’d send me a fake tax filing and keep the money.”
He still takes responsibility for what happened.
“At the end of the day, though, it was my negligence. The IRS doesn’t really care about you.” 😔

Only member of congress to have had an H-1B visa?!?
How many retards voted this bozo into political office so she can further prioritize her caste over Americans.
Statement on Trump Suspending Microsoft from the PERM Program:
This is a crucial issue for me as the top Democrat on the Immigration Subcommittee, the only member of Congress to have actually had an H-1B visa, and the Representative for tens of thousands of Microsoft workers. The administration has been consistently working to take away legal pathways for immigrants to contribute their talents to our country, and this is yet another of those attacks.
The PERM program is the first step toward an employment-based green card for countless workers who want to contribute to this country, and it lays out a clear process with steps to ensure that this is a net benefit to our economy and does not harm American jobs. Our economy, our communities, and our families depend on immigrants in many sectors, including the tech sector, and heavy-handed attacks like this only hurt efforts to build a strong, stable, and diverse base of workers who have legal pathways to come and be in the United States while also protecting U.S. workers from unscrupulous employers.
You don’t fix a broken immigration system by taking a hammer to legal immigration. Microsoft has been a leader in advocating for comprehensive immigration reforms that modernize an antiquated immigration system and provide more — not fewer — legal pathways for immigrants from all over the world to work here and be with their families. Targeting Microsoft or the PERM program in this way simply undermines legal immigration and weakens America’s ability to innovate.
