Kinda wild how much room they are giving it.
To me, Diaz’s check swing was a very obvious swing from what I’ve understood the rule to be since I first became a fan in 1999.
The Yandy Diaz strikeout to end Game 2 would not have been close to a swing under the review system they've been testing in the minor leagues

William Contreras loves challenging so much that he tried to challenge 2 pitches in one at bat with no challenges remaining
😆😆😆
This is sad
#Cubs runs scored in their postseason games since the 2017 NLCS
2017 NLCS - 2, 1, 1, 3, 1
2018 Wild Card - 1
2020 Wild Card - 1, 0
2025 Wild Card - 3, 0, 3
2025 NLDS - 3, 3, 4, 6, 1
2026 Wild Card - 0, 1
So that's 18 postseason games in that span...they've scored more than one run in only 8 of those 18 games and only scoring more than 3 runs in just 2 of those 18 contests.
The fact that no Cubs hitting coach has convinced Matt Shaw to stop stepping across his body so dramatically (so that he doesn’t get beat on EVERY fastball inside) is very perplexing to me
Man… I was about to have a really positive post about how the Cubs have seemingly quieted the Padres fans…
