The Cubs are promoting top prospect Josiah Hartshorn to Double-A, per @_chaseford.
The 19-year-old has 23 home runs and a .939 OPS across two levels this season.
Only two 19-year-olds have taken an at-bat in Double-A this season.

WE NEED THIS OFFENSE.
Since Cade Horton went down on April 3, the Cubs are 24-6 when scoring 5+ runs.
Since their 10-game winning streak ended on May 9, they're 8-18 overall:
• 6-1 when scoring 5+ runs
• 7-3 when scoring 4+ runs
• 1-15 when scoring 3 or fewer

I spoke with @SetupManKyle about the recent struggles for the Cubs. We discussed the problems with the starting rotation, bullpen and injuries. Can the Cubs get their season going again with Ben Brown against the Brewers tonight? #cubs youtu.be/Pipz6ampiXQ?si=4vQf…

Since our show was instant reaction to the Nico news, two topics I didn’t get to mention that I thought of after the fact:
- Is Shaw a UT player moving forward or future LF/RF with Happ/Seiya on their way out?
- Jefferson Rojas becomes a clear trade candidate, right?
