Part of the Democratic Party’s credibility problem is that too many politicians and pundits are asking voters to follow their lead on candidates who could literally be the difference between democracy and authoritarianism. Yet many of those same voices went all in for a guy with a Totenkopf and a long history of questionable behavior, and never fully apologized for it.
In a Trumpian move, they offered little accountability or self-reflection. They just stopped talking about it. And now they’re surprised people aren’t taking their opinions seriously.
If you have a problem with Palestinians not being able to vote, you should probably take that up with the Palestinian government who hasn't let them vote for 20 years now, and is denying their right to vote again until at least September 2027.
